My favorite is home baked turkey sandwich with mayo.  I will not eat deli turkey, it tastes like paper to me.

Second is a summer tomato sandwich with mayo, salt and pepper.

Always and forever a great burger.

Today we had a tuna salad of chopped apple, celery and walnuts and good tuna in the glass jar with a tiny bit of Duke's Lime Mayonnaise.  It was served on a spinach and arugula salad dressed with vinegar, but sometimes is served open face on toast.  Which would classify it as a sandwich?

Homemade chicken salad made with mayo, chopped celery, shredded carrots, and green onions on rye.

Turkey breast with mayo and lettuce on sourdough bread.

Sliced avocado and tomato with oregano on ciabatta bread.

Italian salami, provolone cheese, peppers and onions made with olive oil and baked in the oven. Put it all on a Kaiser roll. Oh boy.

Taking specialty type sandwiches like crabcakes and burgers out of the mix, then I'll take a grilled smoked turkey on pumpernickel with swiss, cole slaw and russian dressing. Wouldn't turn down a side of steak fries to go with that one either.
