Check out ShopHQ's Cook's Companion brand bakeware set - 446-071. I love these cookie sheets so much that I bought another set. They wash up easily, food doesn't stick to them and they come in nice colors.

I can't remember the brand of my baking pan, but I bought it at Kitchen Collection. It is plain aluminum, about 13 x 18, and it looks like the kind I always see used on cooking shows. I wanted shiny aluminum, not dark metal or non-stick. I also have a silpat which fits perfectly. The silpat measures 16 1/2 by 11 1/2.

I see this Nordic Ware pan on the Kitchen Collection website, and this is the type of pan I have. The description states that the aluminum bakes evenly and browns uniformly and the light color prevents over-browning. Encapsulated steel rims prevent warping.

Oceantown - that's the pan I have. I actually have 2. I do believe that the use of parchment paper has made a big difference. Santa came early for me and I received my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Between the mixer (creaming butter and sugar) and the parchment paper. I baked some mighty fine peanut butter cookies.

Costco recently had the half size in a two pack and so far so good. I have some thinner ones and don't care for them, and these are like one I have that's thicker, cooks evenly, and has managed not to look all burned and rusted. I've only had them for a month so I can't comment long term, but it was a great deal. I just pulled them out and they're NordicWare half sheets. It sounds like GraceCO and I bought the same ones! They look similar to the above picture.

Hi, Donasmom, that is a great looking pan! I have some nordic ware that I love. I really don't remember the brand of my baking sheets though. They are not marked, so I don't believe they are Nordic Ware.

I think the aluminum pan does an A-1 job! I sometimes use parchment, sometimes the silpat. It has never warped, and it is easy to get in and out of the oven with the nice edge. It can be used for so much more than just cookies.

I have had my pan for years, and before I bought it I realized that this was the type of pan I always noticed on cooking shows. So I decided to buy one.

Your peanut butter cookies sound delicious. Congrats on the Kitchen Aid stand mixer! It sure makes baking a pleasant experience when you have all the perfect tools for the job, doesn't it?

Happy Baking to everyone.

Mine are Chicago Metallic aluminized steel. They are nice and heavy, and will last forever. I've gotten mine at Amazon for very good prices. Considering the quality, they are extremely inexpensive. I have two sizes and I also have Silpats for each size, which I use for some things.

The Sam's Club ones are also ""USA"" made.

I have airbake pans that I have used for years and years. I always use either parchment paper or a silpat mat when I bake anything/everything, and I think that is why my air-bake pans still look so good and bake so well.

glmama and grand_2_2, if you are interested in pans from Costco, they can be ordered online. They will probably assess an up charge if you don't have a card, but it isn't too much, and depends upon the price of the item.

Costco has Restaurant Essentials 18x13 Half Size Aluminum Sheet Pans; $32.99 for 6; $57.99 for 12. I like to use at least four pans when making cookies so I can put them in the oven without waiting for them to cool down, etc., and it takes a lot less time. So the cost of extra pans makes it worthwhile in my opinion.

I used airbake cookie sheets for years and loved them. Then I found Chicago Metallic and I swear they are the best sheets ever. I always use parchment paper, no greasing my cookie sheets. I just love Chicago Metallic; we bought some and BB & B several years ago, using coupons, and I bought several at Reading China and Glass.
