Hi Ladies,

What's the best (or your favorite) cookie sheet? I currently have a few Wilton-brand ones. They are very light weight and I've never loved them b/c I think that they have warped a little bit and don't seem that substantial. I've noticed lately that when I bake cookies, they are not coming out as evenly as they used to. Of course, this could be due to lots of factors, but I'm thinking these sheets aren't the best. I'd like to buy a few more, perhaps ones that are a bit heavier and more substantial. OR a brand or type that the ladies here really like.

I'd also love to be able to purchase this brand in a B&M store, if possible. I know, this is a tall order!

TIA{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I have two older ones, that are heavier and worn--which is fine--I use these for more savory items, not cookies.

Go to Sam's Club and look for Bakers & Chefs Aluminum Sheet Pans (18 by 13 in) half sheet size. You get 2 pans for $10.78. I get them for Christmas gifts.

I also have Silpat mats that fit these pans, so I never have to grease the pan.

KAF has precut parchment paper to fit this size pan also.

I would love some new nonstick ones that don't rust! I have some really old T-fal ones that are fantastic. I have used them forever. T-fal doesn't make them anymore. Or at least I don't think they do.

All the newer nonstick bakeware that I have tried rusts. Of course, I do wash it in the DW. I have washed the T-fal pans in the dishwasher for years and they never rust. The nonstick is just getting thin, no flaking though!

I'd love to hear some responses here.

Thanks, Barbara.Smiley Happy While I don't belong to a Costco, I do belong to BJs. I wonder if they sell them there? I will look. I have some of the pre-cut parchment. However, it doesn't fit my current sheets and I have to cut it to fit! Which defeats the whole purpose, of course.:/ Q2--WS is one of my favorite stores. I was thinking of them right away. I will go look online and then perhaps check out our closest store. TUSmiley Happy

I absolutely love AirBake cookie sheets. I have a molasses cookie recipe I have made since I was 12 years old and these cookie sheets are awesome. Molasses cookies have a tendency to want to brown too much on the bottom before they are done. Spray the AirBake pans with Pam and they come out perfect. Wal-Mart sells them and Bed Bath and Beyond did sell them. I originally bought mine from QVC and mine are the entire width of the oven rack making cookies much faster than smaller cookie sheets. I wish they would sell these again. Good luck finding what is good for you. Wilton non stick products are easy to remove your food from also. Wal-Mart has a good selection in our area.

I have had very good luck with Nordic Ware that I ordered thru Amazon. I get the jelly roll size. I will say, that based on the recommendations of the expert cooks here, I have been using parchment paper every time I nake cookies - no matter the recipe. Perfect cookies every time.
