I only bring my winter quilts to the laundromat now. There's a picture of me throwing myself across the washer and dryer and hugging them when we bought the house.

What I liked the least was people just leaving their clothes in the washers or dryers and then leaving, like no one else needed to use them. Or if there was no attendant and the coin slot got stuck or the machine didn't work.

It was nice getting it all done at once.

Thank goodness, I haven't had to use one for years.

Two can play that game! When my clothes were about done, I always took a few items out put them in and started the number of dryers I would need,.same with washers, I would grab some dirty clothes and put them in two or three washers, if they were open, then go back and resort before starting the washer.

I remember going to one for about a month when our dryer broke down. I had two babies then, that was 23 or 24 years ago. I haven't stepped foot in one since. I don't think we have one in our town.
