The worst thing ever is when your washed clothes are ready for a dryer and some one comes from home with wet clothes and fills up all the dryers. Dryers that should be yours! Ugh!

The chemical odors from all of the various scented detergents and scented dryer sheets........ugh!

I have rarely had to use one, I am thankful to have my own washer and dryer. The times I have gone it's usually when I am helping a friend or visiting someone. I hate it. Find it tedious to schlep my dirty clothes or towels to a public place, use something that everyone has used before me (no way of knowing what was in the washer prior to my load, could have been blankets or towels covered in poo) and they don't get sanitized between users. Plus sitting there waiting while your laundry spins around while you could be at home doing other things. No thanks. I am grateful to have my own washer and dryer.

Hate it......I use it regularly.....I do the "Wash and Fold" service.....but I still hate it.
I prefer doing my own laundry in my own machine, but due to circumstances beyond my control I have to use the laundromat.

I once read an article about the amount of hair (not necessarily the long kind that would come from your head) that is removed from washers and dryers in laundromats.

LOL!!! Gross! Yet another reason to do laundry at home!

Went to a Laundromat in Newtown a few weeks back to keep a friend company while she did her wash. I thought I was going to be stuck there for at least 90 minutes. She was done in less than an hour! The newer washers and dryers are super efficient.

If your pet items aren't acceptable to go in your washer and dryer do you think it's fair to those who use the laundramat to do their personal laundry?
