I had an interesting experience this afternoon that reminded me of this thread. I was in a CVS. I had tried a Neutrogena moisturizer that I had used at one time. I had to return it. I didn't like the consistency. I have gotten used to a moisturizer gel sold by Clinique.

While in CVS, I thought I'd try Roc Retinol for the Eyes (as opposed to a higher-end online product). This was the 2nd time that CVS had only 1, rather beat-up box, on the shelf.

Then I went to look for Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser and tried to find the Brightener or Neutralizer. My store didn't carry those 2.

I tried Lumene BB cream. Loved the smell and application but the light was too dark so I have to return.

I decided to look at Rimmel because I'd heard good things. Again my store had virtually no products and many were old looking. I looked for NYX and couldn't find it in stock.

This is why I switched from buying drugstore products and moved to online and dept. store products. The inventory in my local stores is old and incomplete. Walmart has cut back on products they carry and since the credit/debit card debacle at Target, I no longer shop there.
