Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Hey all, guess what???   It's raining again, seriously so much rain and it's a cold rain.  46 is pretty cold when it's raining.  I got groceries and had to drive through all the construction while they are building the new hospital...I get nervous driving in between those barrels even though I know semi trucks have to do it.

I recorded the end of The Voice finale and of course it was on the news and so spoiler alert!  Oh well, I'll still watch the performances.   Survivor finale tonight although I have to record that too because hubby and I are going to the Dancing With The Stars in our town.  All proceeds go to Hospice and my BIL and SIL are dancing in it.  Should be a fun night, now if the rain would go away and the sun come out I'd be good!

Nomless American Ninja Warrior Celebrity is tomorrow night.  Natalie Moralas from the Today show is in it, and Derek From DWTS's.  I think it's only 1 night though, not every week.

Foxxie I couldn't do the mud run either!  I had friends do it here though.

Lucy glad the kids are enjoying their cruise and DH is having more interviews.  Once you get settled there you can for sure see all the trails and sights.

Glad Laura is okay and she saw the shout out!

Well I better finish putting away my stuff, have a great day!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

We posted at the same time bopper...lol.  I didn't even see yours.  Thanks...this is his 3rd interview with the same place I meant...not another company.  They're taking him to lunch with the senior guys so he can meet them all.

Foxxie, thanks for pointing me to Laura's post. It's great she's doing well.

Lucy, so sorry you had a night in ER. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Bopper, thanks for the heads up about ANW tomorrow. Fun!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

@Iluvlucy I'll pray for no more hospital/ER visits....get some rest today if you can.  When are you moving?

DS is doing better. I think he had too much serotonin in his system....too bad the med didn't work as it is specifically for ocd.

Did 2.75 mi/33.30 min on the treadmill.  My legs just wanted to go.....had to pace as I don't need an injury.

Happy Hump Daaaaaay everyone!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

@Iluvlucy, let's hope the third time is a charm for your husband.

@MickD, I'm sorry I forgot to mention your son again.  Hope he is progressing nicely.  Can you say what the OCD is?  I automatically think of the character Monk who doesn't want to touch things.  Then there's that guy on one of those reality talent shows (bald) who doesn't like to touch people.  The one I've seen the most constantly washing hands.  I had a bf once who was as neat as a pin.  Everything in his cabinet had to face the same direction.  His house, unlike this house when my hubby, then bf brought me by unexpectedly, was spotless.  When I showered there I had to make sure I dried all the water spots off the walls.

Or am I barking up the wrong tree completely.

@Mmsfoxxie love Monk!  OCD changes.  So at first my son would have to touch a door knob a certain amount of times, then it was touching our front gate, etc.  Now he thinks he says something inappropriate to people......and says - did I just say something weird?   It is constant ....the intrusive thoughts....he has been hand washing too lately.....gurrrr.

Thanks for explaining that to me @MickD.  I didn't realize that it affected things you say, too.  Hopefully, as he gets older, he will get better.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Rise and shine everybody.  Good morning!  I slept the whole night last night and feel wonderful.  Hope you all are well, too.

Thursday is a hum drum day at my fitness center so I'll just do the track.  Enjoy the day everyone.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Good morning, all!  I was out at a plant for an award ceremony yesterday (the OSHA VPP Star), so was out of pocket.  I managed to avoid the huge traffic jam at the Air Force Academy graduation by leaving around 1 from the plant.  I was treated to several passes by the Thunderbirds while driving up I-25. I've never seen them in person, so it was quite thrilling. That's kind of the grand finale for the graduation.  No one is allowed to leave once the ceremony starts until after the Thunderbirds are done, so I was glad to see them still in the sky!

Today is Zumba.  I practiced a bit last night and was going to go to a class tonight at the rec center, but my dog sitter has to drop my keys and get paid tonight, so I may not make it.

Today is my birthday, so please have some cake for me!  I will also be having cake because I like cake.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, it started off dreary but this afternoon the sun came out .   I did an hour on the reformer and then mowed the grass.  Attended my GD's 5th grade program at school this afternoon and tonight we grilled out.   I'ts 54 out now.

DrKelli Happy Birthday to you, it's also my son's BD.   He just turned 34 today.   We have seen the Thunderbirds, it's amazing isn't it?    I love cake frosting!  Hahaha, can leave the cake, give me frosting and a corner piece Smiley Happy

Lucy are you better now?  I hope you didn't have to go back to ER.   How did DH's interview go?

Nomless remember ANW Celebrity is on now.

Foxxie glad you slept good!  That really makes a difference.

MickD sorry your son is having trouble again with his OCD.   That has to be very hard for all of you.

Have a good day everyone!
