@mac116 That is what we do almost always with this.  Just as you said!

@homedecor1- I make these Hormel filets frequently.  Sometimes I brush them with BBQ sauce, sweet & sour sauce, apricot pineapple jam, peach preserves or I use a dry rub.  They are delicious any way you fix them and take a about 40 min. in my Breville oven.  I have 4 of them in my freezer now.  If sweet doesn't

appeal to you, use a tex mex rub and serve with spanish rice and beans.  Very versatile.  They come out very tender, more like a pork tenderloin than a pork loin. Follow the cooking instructions on the pkg., use a meat thermometer and don't overcook.

@RedTop- I've never seen a pork loin filet sold in a larger size than the Hormel 24 oz. roasts.  These are more like a pork tenderloin than a regular pork loin roast.  These come out very tender any way I fix them.  They only take about 40 min. to cook at  350.

Pork tenderloin is so tender, it doesn't take much to cook them! For an easy recipe, season it with seasoned salt, pepper and garlic powder. Brush on a small amount of barbeque sauce (or your favorite sauce). Place tenderloin on a foil lined baking pan; bake uncovered in a 425 degree oven for about 30 to 35 minutes. Check internal temp...should be around 155 to 160 degrees. Let sit for 5 minutes after removing from oven and then slice for serving.

@WORKING GAL

In this area of WV, my IGA store sells the whole pork loins which as I mentioned are usually 15+ pounds.  The store will cut them  any way you want, but I buy them whole and cut them myself.

The pork loin pictured in this thread is not large enough to feed the 5-6 people I cook for.

Re: Hormel Pork Loin — Recipe Please

My local grocery store often runs a special - buy one, get one for 1 cent - on these Hormel pork tenderloins. I like to season with just black pepper and bake for specified time. Then I make some pork gravy (dry mix by McCormick) and pour over it. Baked or mashed potatoes and green salad go well with it.

@WORKING GAL Sam's sells whole pork loin roasts and they run 10 to 12 pounds, and cost about $30. I have bought them, boned and butterflied them, stuffed and rolled them for big parties.  I had to cut part of one end off to fit it all in my ovens.

@Sapphiregal

That's exactly how I cooked and served it.  Baked it with sauerkraut.  It was good but we aren't big on pork so don't know if I'd make again.

I may take the other one (they were BOGO) and make pork scallopini recipe.
