It's warming up here in northeast Ohio, so I'm thinking about dinner for the rest of the week.  Will probably have salad topped with tuna, avocado toast or egg salad sandwiches.  Anythign to avoid turnign the oven or range on!

What is else is everyone else 'cooking' to beat the heat?

It's heading on over to the New England area too.   I have taco's planned for tomorrow night and tonight is omelet's with home fires to use the leftover ribeye and baked potatoes we had on the grill yesterday........haven't planned beyond that yet, hahaha!

Hey there, I'm originally from NE Ohio.  North Canton.  Live in Cincy now. I really miss my home.

I am home alone for a few days, so I only have to make dinner for myself.

My garden is producing so I am having an authentic Greek salad like I had while in Greece.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olive oil, olives and feta cheese.

It's supposed to be 118 here in Phoenix and I know it sounds stupid but we are firing up the pizza oven outdoors a little later for homemade pizza. It only takes a couple of minutes to cook so it won't be that bad.

I gravitate toward cold pasta salads in hot weather. My husband likes egg salad, so even though I won't have any, he'd like an egg salad sandwich with potato chips for his lunch tomorrow.

Today was Manwich burgers, tater tots in the air fryer and a tomato/cucumber/onion salad.

Tomorrow will be BLTs with homegrown tomatoes, pasta salad and jello (Island Pineapple with canned Tropical Fruit).
