I drew the line when I found DH washing the kitchen towels with dog beds.  Guess no one will come eat at my home! 😶

I do all towels together because they're the only items where I don't use fabric softener. I don't worry at all about a possible shower towel strand of hair being washed along with the kitchen towels.

Kitchen linens? I don't have any. I use microfiber clothes - one to dry hands and one for any small utensils that I've hand washed. When there are enough for a small load of laundry, I wash them usually once every 2 weeks.

Bath towels will be washed sometimes with jeans when we have a small load.  But 95 percent of the time are washed just bath towels.

All kitchen cloths are washed separately with bleach.  All bath towels and wash cloths washed separately with bleach. And they are not in a hamper together either.

I wash my kitchen towels and tablecloths and placemats all together. I don't use bleach on anything.

Re: Washing kitchen linens...❓❓❓

So do all of you who are bleaching your kitchen towels only use white towels?  My kitchen towels have pretty colors and patterns that I don't want to ruin with bleach.  Same with the microfiber ones - they're all bright colors and I want them to stay that way.  So all of our kitchen linens are washed separately in hot water, but no bleach.  No bleach for my bathroom linens, either.

@house_cat  Between my husband and I, we go through 2-3 dish towels a day. I know it sounds like a lot, but its just what we do. So around day 5 I have 10-15 dish towels to put in the washer on "sanitize" and bleach. I always do them separately from other laundry.

Not everyone can use bleach, I can't with asthma. I use unscented Tide and that's as wild as I can get lol.
