Last night were pork tenderloin cutlets coated in panko bread crumbs and fried, and as the crust was so crispy, no fat to be seen, zucchini and roasted new potatoes.

I specifically told DH to get a frozen turkey seventeen pounds or over, so what does he come home with, a fourteen pound turkey, so back he went and came home with a 17.2 lb turkey, lol.

@Pooky1 and everyone else, please post in my thread here "What are you cooking/eating for Thanksgiving."

I made a pot of chicken and rice soup today, and am surprised how little was leftover.

Re: OK Everyone - What's Cooking for this November 2018?

mousiegirl, my meal will be a Thanksgiving usual. Am lucky however, as I do not have to cook it. Davey's Dad volunteered and of course I jumped for joy. Those long cooking sagas, are something I simply cannot do anymore. We are having turkey dressing, mashed taters, green beans, carrots, sliced cucumbers in vinegar - always try to have a fresh veggie Would have tomatoes but Davey and his Dad neither eat tomatoes. What I snicker at however is both devour spaghetti. Cannot convince them the basic ingredient is tomatoes but they BOTH say they are allergic to tomatoes. Funniest thing I have ever heard.

Very cold this morning - although I went to Urgent
Care Friday I still do not feel well. Oh well, what can I say.

Have a great day one and all.

@Winifred  DD is the same about tomatoes, won't eat fresh, but will eat any cooked tomato sauce.

Your Thanksgiving meal sounds yummy, and so great that you don't have to cook..  I hope you feel better soon. Smiley Happy
