[ Edited ]

Yesterday, I made what I call my Taco Bell taco mix for the freezer.  It was either six or eight pounds of ground turkey, get the four pack at Costco, made ten meals worth. at least, all in the freezer in baggies now,  will come in handy on evenings of very busy decorating/baking days, but still have to make soups, can't live on tacos, lol.

The weather has turned cold, grey yesterday, was told the haziness was caused by the fires in the north Bay, terrible situation.  Today, still cold, but see the sun trying to shine.

Strange that the deadliest fires in California history came in a year that was not nearly as warm as usual, and though it hasn't been windy here for a while, earlier in the year it was more windy than I remembered, apparently it was the wind that whipped up this devastation.  Hopefully, that area will get rain soon, it usually does before it rains here.

@hellie jo  Lol.  DH could live on pizza, hamburgers, and tacos, lol.  I serve different versions of tacos several times a week every week.  I grill the tortillas on the gas range, and for tostadas, I fry the shells, using a different kind of tortilla which I can only find at one store, so stock up when I go as they keep a long time in the refrigerator.
