Re: NEED A DRESS CODE FOR HOSTS I

Every time I start to think I must be the most out-of-touch person on the planet, I find I'm not!  Woman Very Happy

Re: NEED A DRESS CODE FOR HOSTS I

QVC would have let her know if she violated their dress code, so we just need to keep out of it.

AFTER WATCHING JULIA CLEARY LAST NIGHT. WEARING WORN JEANS AND A SHIRT THAT LOOKED FADED AND WRINKED I'VE DECIDED IT IS TIME FOR  QVC TO IMPOSE A DRESS CODE FOR HOSTS.  CASUAL IS FINE BUT SLOPPY ISN'T.

YOU'VE decided ... LOL.  Now that's funny.  Not your decision but you get to decide if you will watch or not.

@STYLE

Do you have a picture?  I really like JULIA CLEARY, and I have never seen her dressed inappropriately.

Re: NEED A DRESS CODE FOR HOSTS I

I could care less how anyone else dresses, my opinion means nothing.  I have low expectations anymore but I do think they could at least comb their hair, and look neat and clean.  Most hosts dress casually and look absolutely fine.  Even better than fine!  There are  IMO a few that could step it up a bit but if that's the was they choose to present themselves so be it.  I can choose to change the channel.

The only thing prohibited at my office was wearing a GUN to work...

For me it's not so much what they wear, but the obsession with insisting they are a certain size, when clearly they are not .  The too tight pants that show what shouldn't be shown and and jackets that would take the jaws of life to close. The clothes are not shown to advantage and it really doesn't help the customer . If hosts must wear the clothing woman up and wear the correct size.  I will now step down from my soapbox. LOL

I'm with you. I was watching Susan Graver last night and the host was wearing a pair of wide legged crop pants that were too tight. Same with the matching tank. Wide leg means just that. I did not want to see the outline of her hips and thighs. I just turned off the program because whatever she put on was going to look like that. I'll watch Susan when Pat or Jayne are on. Some of these hosts do not take us the viewer into account. They are too busy squeezing into a size that is way too small for them just to say they are a xxxs

I am under the impression that the QVC stylists choose the hosts wardrobe.
