I haven't watched her many times. She seems like a down to earth person.
Her recipes are nice.
Her pantomime is exhausting to watch.
Is she always so animated?

I'm seriously surprised at her… it was as if she were playing charades. One thing is good about it.. you can watch on mute.

I'm from an Italian background and I don't know anyone who talks like that.

I bet she has ADHD or is on something....it just isn't that natural to be so energetic and happy all the time. If she is like that naturally, WOW we all could use some of her energy. She reminds me of my 4 year old nephew....so much energy, which isn't a bad thing, but if I had to be that upbeat for a 30 minute show, I'd have to have a nap afterwards. LOL!

Rachel Ray shares some very interesting, and tasty, recipes, although she wears me out with her demonstrations. I just think she exhibits such a bold, strong, overpowering presence when she does the shows, and I personally translate that as creating a stressful environment in the kitchen. I prefer to see a calmer, more laid back approach to cooking, such as what I see from Giada, Melissa D'Arabian, or Sandra Lee on their cooking shows. Paula Deen also exhibited the same bold, strong, overpowering presence on all of her shows, which was one of the negatives I had towards watching her cook.
