@SHOPR  Thanks so much for the HU on the Churchill lanterns and now I'm walking through the house looking to see if I can possibly justify buying another lantern.  DH looks at me like I just sprouted two heads when I mention getting another lantern, but I love them so much it's hard not to buy when the price is so good like this.  Smiley Wink

@Bdeezy, I didn't realize they were different heights.  Or, it may be that they are the same but one company measured the handle included and the other didn't?  Just a thought because I have no idea.  You could add height by placing a lantern on something like bricks, pavers, etc?  Just a passing thought.  I'm no good at shopping for outdoor furniture (I actually never have!) but I will keep your request in the back of my mind just in case.

Well, thanks for this PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

There is a 4" difference in height compared to the Churchill at the Q. 3% cashback w/Mr. Rebates. Just have to find something else for free shipping to make the $49.00 for it. Like that will be a task. LOL

Really wanted the height because it is going on a table with geraniums and hanging vine something or other I like to add to the pot, but at this price who cares.

Shopr - if you come across an outdoor black finish inexpensive table, let me know. I have faith in ya kid. The one I purchased from Walmart is too small, the flower pot I finally got was just about the circumference of the table. I had a light feature hanging on for dear life next to it, which I knocked over and broke while taking out the garbage. I got so many compliments on the look from neighbors. I'll just pass this little table on to one of my twins. Tada!

LOL @lucymo I understand.  It is hard not to buy one at this price but I haven't committed to getting one either.  Just think, if you walk a few more rounds through the house looking for just the right place, it's like exercise.  LOL.

@SHOPR  I love the way you think but if I make one more trip through the house I fear I'll see a place that a black lantern would be perfect.  lol

Well, that purchase was like giving birth! Took over an hour to find something to bring me up to $49; then 'paypal' wouldn't work and typed in my credit card incorrectly twice. AGING JUST AIN'T FOR SISSYS! Anyhooo, I got it and I compared that one w/the Q and decided w/that savings I'll just put something waterproof under it to add height, as you suggested. Purchased the black in case I don't find another table.

SHOPR you still hold the title of 'Grand Enabler.' xoxo Dee

@Bdeezy and @lucymo, I woke up with lanterns still on the brain.  Imagine that.  Still resisting, though.  :-)  Bdeezy, what a pain but I'm glad you finally got yours ordered.  Let's hope it's a keeper.

@SHOPR  Proud of you but if you're still thinking about it you'll hit that submit button before the day is over, I'm afraid.  I have one in the cart but like you, still resisting.  I need to spend some time at a " shopaholic clinic"  on a Pacific island  and not come back until I'm cured or winter is over, whichever comes first.  lol   Once I get in the garden I don't think much about shopping until CIJ.  Lanterns are needed outside too though.  It's hopeless.  Smiley Embarassed
