The black dresser is definitely out of place!!!  It's not my style, but okay otherwise....

Re: Pastel Bedroom

[ Edited ]

Too matchy match.  Pink pillows and pink blanket is predictable.  OMG! Is that a pink ceiling and bed frame?

Pastels are not for me so, overall, this bedroom doesn't work for me.  I think the nightstand looks totally out of place.  Its much too heavy and dark for the pastels.

Yes, that nightstand looks a bit "aggressive" in such a peaceful room. The colors are a bit "nursery" to me but I do like it.

I like pastels. But..there's not a thing about this room I like. Ok, I take that back...I like the window and the two little chairs w/ table/flower vignette. In another, farmhouse, white, shabby chicish room I'd prefer them. Same window tho'...that's pretty.

That overhead light is unusual...pretty cool.

But all that said...not a room for me to live with.

My least favorite things are that ugly black "night stand/ chest" and lamp. ugh.

I would make a few changes. I like the night stand ..it adds dimension and contrast. I would change the drapes to off white, switch out the pink to off white or gray, and the throw pillows would be edged in black.

I like the nightstand, and would change everything else in the room to work with it!

The pastel colors have to go; I like this color blue in clothes, but never in my house.

It looks (stereotypically) like a very rich, very old woman's room. Not my taste (or demographic).

Not my preferred colors or style of furnishings. I'm not a pastel person. Too much blue and pink for me. I can't really find any item or structural element I like other than the windows.
