First and most do not like the excessive use of blue....a bit overwhelming.  And, yes the cabinet is an intruder.  Do not like ceiling fixture or ceiling.

That black dresser is like wearing a pair of fancy black patent shoes with a light 'n airy summer sundress. They don't go together.

It's not a room I would choose for myself, but I do like it.  I do like the black chest.  If the whole room were without contrast, I wouldn't like it although I suppose a deep navy chest might work for me, too.  I just don't do all soft pastel very well.

I like the black  cabinet, don't care for much else.  Am not a fan of pastels or lots of blue.  I dislike the padded headboard and that awful carpet.

@lolakimono

What a beautifu, serene looking room.  The pastels are so pretty & peaceful looking.  Love the large window & the "blush" ceiling.

My changes:  I'm not a fan of carpet but I have to admit, I like the colors & pattern.  The ceiling light is a mix .. I don't mind the style but those "polka dot" looking things kind of ruin it. The black nightstand works & is a good contrast, but I'd use white instead as I prefer lighter colors.)  I'd also replace the drapes.  Thank you for sharing.

I like this room, but being me I woud have to fancy it up.  Change the ceiling light to something like I have in one of my rooms, a scallopped white with delicate roses florals, add some pretty throw pillows on the bed (I have 9 in different sizes in that room.  The bed difinitely needs color against the head board.  The dresser is an intruder and needs to leave.  I would want white dressers/bedside cabinets instread of the dark.

And last I would have to find different lamps.  This is a very feminine room and it needs to be more so.  But that is just me and definitely not for everyone!

@lolakimono   I honestly don't mind the black piece - it has a rich and distinct vintage look in the room. What I don't like is the carpet.  I'd pull that up and would prefer hardwood floors.

 That's a lovely room with those large windows decorated with lovely drapes and the gorgeous blush-toned ceiling with molding. All great bones for this room. I don't care for the headboard or the lighting fixture at all, but both could be easily replaced.

The black chest reminds me of an oriental vibe which I like, but it needs sturdier feet or legs (same black at the nightstand) to replace those skinny long legs which take away from the potential beauty of the piece.

Intruder BIG TIME!  I'd put those suckers on Craigslist!
