It does feel like an intruder!  And the overhead light looks like a giant showerhead!  The rest of the room is lovely and serene!

The only things I like are the ceiling and curtains.  Don't like the colors.

My favorite thing, @lolakimono , is the fringe on the pink blanket. I'm a sucker for fringe.

 

Overall, the room seems surreal, maybe even unreal. I am getting a 1950s vibe, and I think the dark chest fits due to its 1950s legs. 

 

The other vibe I am feeling is "The Jetsons," enhanced by the early space age overhead light fixture. There seemed to be a lot of pink and blue in their world.

It's not a room I'd feel comfortable spending time in, much less sleeping in.

The nightstand doesn't fit and I do not care for it at all.  I do like the pastel look of the blue walls and lilac ceiling.  I also like the drapes on the windows for privacy purposes. I would change the lamps and the light.  The colors are fine but some changes need to be made with the decor.
