Hi Bobby K and JPC: Glad to have you step in as VP Bobby K. JPC needs to be treasurer though. We need someone to be the voice of restraint when things get out of control. I actually have to be in Orlando for a conference next month and was hoping JS might be doing one of his signing appearances but I don't think I'll be so lucky this trip.

This club is going to be in serious trouble this July for sure. Lots of new and cute pieces coming up. I'm sure JS's visit to the Q next week will be mostly Easter related but "Christmas in July" will be another thing for sure. Last year I pre-ordered some pieces from the 2013 new collection, but found that I managed to find some better prices if I waited and hunted around so I'm sitting tight on that Woodland collection for now, but I don't see myself resisting that once the holidays roll around again and I start pulling out all my JS Santas. Too much temptation. Guess it could be worse, we could collect diamonds or something like that....Ha Ha. Rationalization is a great thing!!! Happy Friday to you all and hope everyone up north has better weather. It's a dangerous thing to be stuck inside with the Q on the TV.

Oh, I would love to be treasurer. You and BobbyK can send me your money you would be spending on JS and I will keep it safe. You know it will be safe with me.

I know a couple of the mini snowmen will be coming to my house later in the year and unless I can talk myself out of it, the "woodland Snowman" will probably be making an appearance too.

That would be nice if JS was signing when you were in Orlando but he will probably be there the week before or after you are there. I hope you get some time to play while you are there.

Hello to all. I'm sorry that I turned this whole thread into something that it didn't start out being. But I do have to agree that the humor here is the best which is why its so fun!!! I got my two new JS bunnies on Friday afternoon. They are so cute. I really wanted to start pulling my spring/Easter items out, but I have to keep reminding myself it is only February and most of the country is still buried in snow. We are out of the loop down here. My dogs were swimming in the pool on Saturday afternoon. For all you JS lovers, don't forget Jim will be on the Q tomorrow. JPC I know you won't see the really early show, but he is on in the afternoon too.

And JPC, glad you are willing to hold onto our money!!!

Doesn't JS have some nice things coming out???? Guess you can sit in the time out seat with MTH and me BobbyK, when these things come out. I know I just have to have the 2 mini snowmen and that woodland snowman is to die for.

What are the "Frozen" pieces???? I don't know if I have seen them.

It did warm up a little today but boy was yesterday a dilly. Started out foggy, then got rain, thunder and lightening, sleet and the a wet heavy snow. Then the wind started up. We had it all in one day. We ended up with about 5 inches out of it. Suppose to be up in the mid 30's tomorrow then cold again Sunday. If we don't like the weather, all we have to do is wait 5 minutes.

I'm glad I saw this thread this morning....it got away from me...I must be having a senior moment. I'm not even a senior and I'm having many of them . How did I know that those mini snowmen had your name written all over them. I do think you will probably cave for the woodland one too. As for the "Frozen" pieces....he has Anna and Elsa and Olaf....but, no Sven (the reindeer). I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that he will eventually make him. He is my favorite character.

Since you are now elected treasurer...my husband would LOVE for me to send you all my $$$ so I wouldn't be allowed to spend it . I think by July we had better break ground on the facility...because we are all in BIG trouble . Hope you and Mr. Crazy had a nice weekend. Your weather is like a ping pong ball...snowing one day and a few days later raining. JPC, please send some of the rain to California...we desperately need it. We haven't had nary a drop since last November. Hope you have a nice week, JPC.

Glad you like your new bunnies. Bet they are really cute. Missed both of the shows. Forgot till the last 5 min of the afternoon show that he was on so tuned in to see the Mothers Day Angel. I really like that one, it is so different than his other angels. Love the way he incorporated the quilt blocks and cross stitch.

Did you weaken today and get anything. I looked back at what I missed and really like the white chocolate bunny. That is so cute and different. I have a couple of the dark chocolate bunnies. But I was a good girl.

I am sure I will cave for the "woodland" snowman later on. I do see that skyline gifts has it cheaper than JS site but will hold off till closer to July, unless I forget> Been known to do that. What kind of damage did you do today??? Me none, can you believe that. Might have to break ground before July.

Oh, our weather was 4 seasons rolled into one day last week, we had the rain, thunder lightening, sleet and snow all in about a 2 hour time span. We don't mess around when it comes to weather. Now we are in the cold weather again and snow last night. Boy am I ready for spring.

Hope you have a nice week too BobbyK and I am still waiting on the money for our treasury.

Well...I should have gotten that money to you a LOT faster. You know me...I'm usually very weak for his Disney pieces..but, I just couldn't resist that basket with the little egg critters.So I guess I'm really in need of some serious intervention. I really love his woodland snowman and I have a funny feeling that a few other pieces might come to your doorstep as well . But, at least you and me and MTH and all the other club members will have a little breathing room before his releases in June / July. I was really hoping he would make Sven from "Frozen". But..so far just Anna , Elsa and Olaf.

Wow...JPC that is one big mix of weather rolled into a very short time. I know I shouldn't say this because so many people on the forum are so ready for Spring....but, JPC we need everyone's rain, snow and everything else all sent out here to California. So if I could I would take your horrible weather and wish it out here for a while. It has been the most strange winter with everyone east of Nevada getting walloped with cold weather, snow and everything in between while we sit here with a drought. I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come for future seasons. We're already headed for some major water rationing.

JPC, I can't believe you forgot about the JS show today. Maybe since nothing really spoke to you...that's just more money saved for his June / July releases.The hubby says I need to send the money your way soon for safekeeping.
