Hi All: Yes JPC, those were the exact same three snowmen I was looking at. I actually put them in my Wish List folder so I had the item numbers handy. Keep eyeing Skyline too. They don't have the mini snowmen yet, but I'm sure they will be there at some point and we may save a few bucks.

You all with the Dooney addictions will be happy to know that I only bought a small cross body bag but I guess a purchase is a purchase.

I have been checking out some of the spring decorating threads and have learned so much this week. Checked out Piper Classics too at the suggestion of another thread. Very cute stuff. I will have to sign up for the mailing list on that site I think.

Don't want to get everyone upset, but we have been having amazing weather down in Florida. Can't beleive the rest of the country is still so cold and snowy. This has been a crazy year for weather and let's hope that doesn't mean we'll have a bad summer (hurricane season).

Hi MTH,

I thought we might be "lusting" for the same snowmen. They are just so cute and love the colors on them. I did see that Skyline has the bigger one for about $7.00 less and I too am hoping they get the smaller ones in but didn't know if they would since they aren't on their site now.

Glad you are having amazing weather. I do hope you don't get hit with bad weather later on. I just keep telling myself, someday soon. It has been a strange winter for most of the US.

Hi JPC: Since you are the official treasurer, I have to let you know right up front that in July, you won't be seeing any money from me....it will all be getting those new snowmen. HA HA!!!

I have been having so much fun with the Easter decorating ideas. Everyone on these threads seem to be so creative. You said you gave away most of your bunnies, but I hope you can have some decorating fun. It really is an addiction!!

Good morning MTH,

I am with you on not paying any dues in July either so maybe we need to double up on our payments now to make up for our setback in July. I have come close to going ahead and preordering them so they can be shipped as soon as they become available. I have checked the net and can't find the mini ones at a better price than what JS has them. I figure if Skyline doesn't get them, I will have to pay S&H at JS unless I order all 3 from him. Would only be saving $1.00 if I order the big one from skyline gifts and the minis from JS. Now how is that for logic??? I won't get charged till they ship either way.

Glad you are having fun with your Easter ideas. I hadn't decorated for Easter the past couple of years so just got rid of it all. I had a small Easter village, an Easter train, various bunnies etc. Still have my JS baskets and bunnies but that is it.

I leave my snowmen out till all the snow melts and the way it looks, they will be out till July or August. We have lots and lots of snow to get rid of.

The posters on the home forum can really get your juices flowing, can't they. I love coming here to see what everyone does with their homes. The posters here are the greatest and so very helpful and talented.

Just got off the phone with Skyline Gifts and the CS rep checked and said they will not be getting either of the pint size snowmen. Just wanted you to know in case you were waiting for them to put them up on their website.

Good Morning JPC: That was so nice of you to call them. I agree that if Skyline doesn't have all the pieces we are looking for that it really doesn't save us anything to order from 2 places and if I have to pay full price at least we are paying for an actual piece of his work and not spending the same money on a shipping fee. I think I may just go ahead and put the order in. There is plenty of time to change it if something else comes around. The hardest part for me is whether I also want that Woodland Santa too. But since I have previous JS Santas with woodland animals, and I bought the Arctic Greetings piece this year, I'm thinking I should be sensible and just add the snowman. Before this is done, i may need more furniture to display all these pieces on!!!

I ordered the 2 mini and the Woodland snowman yesterday. Just couldn't get them out of my mind so went ahead and did it. Kept looking at the Woodlan santa, but didn't order him yet. I really liked him too but will see on that one.

I agree about not saving much especially if they have to be ordered from several places. That is so true about changing if something else might come along. hadn't thought of that. Good we have two heads working here isn't it.

I like the way Santa and the animals are standing on the ground, the snowman and animals are on a stand. But that didn't stop me from ordering.

I ordered them too. I'm trying to behave about the santa but I really like the racoon which isn't on the snowman. I'll see how it goes as well, but I really wanted to get in on all the snowmen too. I am on the fence with the Santa too. The raccoon really caught my eye too MTH. Our son had one when he was younger so every time I see one, I think of "Buckwheat"

I figure if I do get the Santa, I can order it from Skyline Gifts and get free shipping since it is less money there. Now how is that for justifying getting him???

You have till June or July to save up for these guys MTH as long as you don't have to go our and buy some new furniture. Guess you won't be sending me any money soon, will ya. I still think I just need to add on a room for all my JS.

Haven't received any money from Bobby K either so guess she is still spending hers too. We will never get our treasury built up this way will we.
