Spice...will look great with walnut maxi and brown bohos....he had me at "lined"...

Or what about the washed silk pants from last year in walnut?

Those will work too. I'm thinking some sort of leggings for this top either in walnut/espresso, black or white.

Demetri Callas is my brother.

Was Bob Gaudio always the quiet type in high school? So handsome. So quiet.

How did he combine high school with early fame? He wrote "Who Wears Short Shorts?" when he was 15 years old, right?

[I'm gonna get in trouble for taking this tunic topic off track.]

I remember him as being reserved. All the girls were gaga over him, but he had a steady. I don't believe he graduated, quit to sing and tour. Did you ever meet him or the other band members? PS The tunic tops are fabulous!!! There, back on topic ;-)

Yes, I met him several times when I went backstage. That is why I asked about his quiet nature. He was far more reserved than the other members -- and I saw him at least three times. Perhaps that is why he wanted to stop performing and get into the production side. When my brother joined the group, he was the fourth of Frankie, Bob Gaudio and Joe Long. My brother took Tommy DeVito's spot in the group. Tommy, as you know, was one of the originals.

Here is Louis's response regarding the faux washed silk pants working with the new tunic colors. Jeanie February 9, 2014 at 10:11 AM Good morning Louis. Can you please tell me whether or not the faux washed silk pant from last year in midnight blue works with the peacock tunic? Also the coco brown with the spice tunic? Thank you so much! Reply Louis Dell'Olio February 9, 2014 at 11:21 AM Dear Jeanie….I tried them all and I am happy to report I loved both colors with both tops and I also love the coco with the peacock and the midnight with the spice. I also loved both colors with the viole5t too. Also who ever has the pant in BOYSENBERRY….I loved that also mixed with ALL of the tunics. I know it’s a little unorthodox to mix these colors but we are after the EXOTIC not the common place, and they truly are beautiful colors together…..all it takes is a little guts and the right accessories….LOL

Love the length. Thinking it would be great to wear for a wedding.

Length is wonderful{#emotions_dlg.biggrin} I could see wearing this gorgeous tunic to a casual, beachy wedding with drapey pants perhaps & strappy sandals. But, there's no way I'd wear this to a formal wedding. Too casual and wouldn't honor the occasion appropriately. IMHO

Thanks for all the advice & opinions. That's what I asked for. I forgot to mention the venue for my son's wedding. It's a barn. My first choice would not be a barn but it's their special day. This barn in Des Moines is rented out year round for special occasions. Many weddings I've been told. He did mention to me not to dress down because of the barn venue.

I love the pattern on this tunic but also am looking at a Bob Mackie black soutache & sequin jacket. #A239166

What did you think of this rather fancy jacket over a SG swing dress?

Also Goldie, I liked reading your stories about the music scene -sounds like good memories

Do you live somewhere you cannot go shopping? I would think you would fare much better in a B&M store where you can try things on. Do you live near a Nordstrom or Saks? Nordstrom has personal shoppers who could help you (I am sure Saks does also).

Enjoyed all the rock and roll memories.

About the tunic--the fabric is beautiful looking, but the sleeves have no design features whatsoever. That type of plain 3/4 length sleeve looks awful on my long arms with bony wrists, not to mention that my forearms are sun-damaged from working outdoors for thirty years. If he had maybe gathered and slit the sleeve bottom and added a little tie around it, it would have feminized it a bit for me.
