I'm getting more used to the look, but it's not a favorite of mine. I'm not crazy about a super long shirt paired with a super short jacket. I don't like anything about her outfit in the 2nd photo. It looks like she's wearing a pair of tights (not leggings) and the jacket/blouse paired together look sloppy to me....JMO.

@ECBG Most jackets are shorter than the longer tunic length tops that are worn. The only alternative would be what I call a pea coat or car coat or a full length wool coat. Those choices aren't easy to wear getting in or out of cars, etc.
@Shanus I LOVE, LOVE the look of long coats, but they're way too heavy for me! I feel like a sack of potatoes is on my shoulders, then add the handbag. It's like I'm trudging in snow!

@ECBG I agree...too cumbersome. BTW, have a great weekend...take care of the tooth.

I have never cared for the look and never wear it myself. “They” tend to show a lot of looks I don’t care for. I’m fine with that.

Seems to have faded away around here. Seeing a lot of form fitting jackets over very slightly longer stretch tops with leggings.

?????
Even with these wardrobe restrictions that apparently everybody has? millions of women manage to avoid the look

Seems to be popular; they're showing a lot of this look. I'm personally not a big fan....
Nothing you can do about it. It's the way we all dress, because it's how clothing is made. When I was younger you wouldn't be caught dead wearing such a thing. I don't wear it now.

I'm not suggesting that something be done about it nor is it an inevitability; We all make our own choices. If my shirt happens to hang below my jacket I will tuck it in (which I do frequently anyway) Easy Peezy
