@QVCkitty1 Please take a moment to read the OPs previous posts. Here taste apparently is consistent if nothing else. She comes here just to denigrate QVC. She doesn't answer question or participate in the threads she starts. She has but one purpose and deserves to receive what she dishes out.
@Kachina624 , My answer to that is so what ? If she crosses a line she will be poofed.
@QVCkitty1 Unfortunately, qvc is exceptionally benevolent about allowing posters to rant, rave, lie and exaggerate about the company, because they are mad at the world. I think they are overly permissive but that's their choice.
Just don't criticize Jane or Shawn though.
@Kachina624 ,I totally agree with your last sentence, they never factor in that those two are " unkind " to the audience. LOL

@PhillyGirl23 I dont think d&c is a cheap brand at all.i guess you that option to buy or not to buy

High prices. I buy clothing by size, color and style and of course I look to find prices I am comfortable with. My go-to places are Zulily and Walmart. Sometimes Blair. Works for me.

@PhillyGirl23 wrote:$46 for a pair of cropped leggings from D&Co (a cheap brand)?????
$53 with Shipping/tax (I pay more elsewhere but, would never pay these prices for cheap looking clothing)
Prior to this item, was a twofer of ugly tees (one w/ a dated print)- Who buys this ******?
Mass-manufactured clothing using inexpensive fabrics- I don't get it!
The leggings should be $16.99 (lol)
QVC is laughing all the way to the bank!!!
Well, that's your opinion ... so go shop elsewhere at places you consider reasonable.
Keep in mind that inflation is cyclical and happens on a fairly regular basis. So many contributing factors involved. Hopefully, things will settle down soon, but higher prices isn't all QVC's fault.
Nevertheless, would love to hear your assessment of which retailers have reasonable prices these days .... care to share?
@Tinkrbl44 Uh....let's see....Big Lots is selling some clothing now.....

SO typical.

@Effie54 wrote:I have to agree with the OP. QVC has raised its price tremendously. It's not like they're paying vendors to come into the studio. Here's what they should do, have one host instead of two. That'll cut your salary down somewhat. I find that some of the pieces are extremely high, for inexpensive polyester material that I could buy at Costco or Kohl's for a lot cheaper. Yes, we all know we could change the channel if we don't wanna watch. There's no need to keep saying that. What the poster might be trying to say is that she felt the prices for denim and Company are extremely high now compared to what they used to be. I agree with her.
They never DID pay the vendors to come. The Vendors and their companies absorbed that cost of doing business.
And if an outside 'rep' was used...the company paid her fee and travel.
What the poster is saying is just complaint after complaint ....baiting and starting threads to see how many of us will get riled.
Old story...same poster.
@RespectLife And cutting out a rep doesn't mean anything as far as saving money when (and I quote):
In 2021, QVC, a subsidiary of Qurate Retail Inc., generated 11. 35 billion U. S. dollars in revenue around the globe.
Neither does how many hams they cut for a presentation or nut mixes they put their hands in on air. They don't ship anything that is unsold to a department store. They don't have clerks standing around playing with their phones eitiher.
The prices are what they are and every person is free to decide for themselves to buy or not. And also they are free to shut up about what other people spend. As we are not commenting on their purchases. I have yet to see a post where someone was telling another how stupid they were for NOT buying something.
There is a pattern here!

@wilma wrote:I think a lot of prices for clothing across various brands on the Q is a bit high. I can find similar things for less at my local stores. I know Q vendors claim their products are better quality, but similar items I buy at lesser cost elsewhere have been fine. That being said, if I see something I really love, I am willing to pay more for it, whether it be the Q or some other retailer.
@wilma Well said. Prices are a little high at the Q and I think it's okay to point that out. They need to hear feedback so they can figure out why sales are down. I've been having very good luck at Kohls, Macys, and Penney's who all have great online sales and coupons. I used to love D&C because their cotton blends were such good quality. No more and I can't wear perfect jersey, too rubbery. Kohls tee fabrics are wonderful this year! I bought some Croft & Barrow tops that are unbelievably comfortable and wash like a dream. Croft & Barrow 1/2 zip tops for around $11 with discounts and coupons. And most of C&B and Sonoma fabrics carry a sustainable fabric tag. Very impressive.
I'll spend more if I really want something, though. I bought a Susan Graver jacket (her jackets are great) and I love it! I was pleased to find out it's 20% recycled plastic. On the other hand, I don't like her over priced polyester.
I do believe that if the Q lowered their prices, sales would soar.
I find the quality and value for Croft & Barrow items at Kohl's to be very good.
