@Reconnaissant I would be very suspicious if it were me.  Did you supply your bank information when you filed your taxes either for a refund or a payment?  Look at the hard copy of your taxes, it will have your bank information, routing number and account number but it will show up as all xxxxxx's.

I would call Turbo Tax to verify.

Also, when you filed your taxes, you should have received an email that they were accepted by the IRS.

@Reconnaissant   I filed my tax return using Turbo Tax. I received my fed. refund in less than one week, and I didn't file my return until the first of April. My stimulus check was in my checking account yesterday. I did not have to create an account on the IRS website. That makes no sense. If you got a refund they the IRS has your bank info. You might have to do this if you did not receive a refund.

I don't know how true that may be.  We received our direct deposit refund on our 2019 return and haven't gotten the stimulus payment yet.

If the IRS has to send you a paper check, you won't get your payment until late April at best. And the higher your income, the longer it will take to get your money. (For taxpayers without children, stimulus check amounts are reduced to zero for single taxpayers with adjusted gross income above $99,000, head-of-household filers with AGI above $136,500, and joint filers with AGI above $198,000.) According to reports, here's the timetable the IRS plans to use for mailing paper stimulus checks:

We used TurboTax and the stimulus money was deposited quickly so I don't think that's the issue.

@Sage04  My social security is the 3rd Wednesdau of the month also, and I got my direct deposit stimulus check this past Tuesday.

@Krimpette  I haven´t received my stimulus check yet. I´m in Georgia. My sister who has a small business received hers on Mpnday and today she receive her unemployment for 3 weeks and the 600. My nephew also got his.

I called Turbo Tax and customer service lady was rude and said it wasn’t their problem and hung up.

I never set up an IRS account because I usually pretty much break even or owe less than $100.  

I use FreeTaxUSA; it's an excellent program and there's a 25% rebate on Rakuten!  

Anyway, I set up an account today, and made a $5 payment towards my 2019 tax return.  Now they have my direct deposit information.
