I'm curious to see when and how I receive my payment. I use TurboTax and I make quarterly estimated payments. Last year I overpaid and am due a refund. However, when I filed my taxes in March, I applied my refund to next year's taxes since I would have to make an estimated tax payment anyway. I also receive social security which is directly deposited. I went online to IRS to put in my bank info but when it got to my mobile phone number they would not confirm my account. I will try again. I hope they use the SS info. I sure don't want a paper check!

My spouse is disabled and collects SS disability.
I can’t figure out what’s going on yet.
Should my spouse enter information into the SS website to find out about direct deposit stimulus check?
Geez this is frustrating
Thank you for any help

@Reconnaissant This is from Social Security:
Social Security retirement, survivors, or disability beneficiaries and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients who do not have qualifying children under age 17:
You do not need to take any action with the IRS. You will automatically receive your $1,200 economic impact payment directly from the IRS. You should receive the automatic payments by direct deposit,

I am not sure if someone responded but I heard this today on cable news, and cal news. There was glitch with anyone who used turbo tax or HRBlock.
also President required his written signature be printed on checks. so it was held up a bit while they engraved the sig into plates. But this wasn't a huge delay. otherwise IDK what to tell you. My grandkids got checks yesterday idk anyone else who got them. But I don't know a lot of people lol I don't expect one. My husband andI might qualify, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
