Last week I had a thread going about a  purchase I made from QVC (D&C pants).  Praised the Q for their quick shipping.

I was expecting them to be delivered today because they were here in St. Louis at the PO......and no, they are still there.  Cannot blame this on QVC.....they followed through with my order.  But, I do blame the USPS for not receiving them today.

Do not like the way items are being shipped via one way, then get transferred over to the USPS and they sit on them until they want to deliver them.  The mailman has been here and gone....and no package.  To me that is not innovation.....

Maybe it is time for QVC to figure a better way of getting packages to us other than through the USPS.

Okay BETH (moderator).....see what you can do about this situation with QVC.  You responded to me on the other thread.  Hope to hear from you again on here.

I think this is your local PO fault.  When I have packages transfered to USPS I have no problems and I am getting packages delivered on Sundays and holidays from the PO.

I haven't had any recent problems with USPS of late.  However, UPS is another story.  They lost one package of mine recently and some of their tracking has been totally inaccurate.  And when I spoke to three different agents, got three different answers.

@Imaoldhippie......yes. I know it is the fault of the local PO.  But it is the Q's fault for their brainchild idea of using the USPS......  There are 3 things in that order, and I had to pay 3 separate S&H on them.  All shipped in one plastic bag that they use for shipping.

You are lucky for such wonderful service from your local PO.

Our post office is not open past noon on a Saturday and never on a Sunday or holiday. If I am expecting a package on a Monday or the day after a holiday, forget it, it'll be delivered the next day. My son lives in the city where the main post office resides and I know they work everyday and holidays. I personally like FedEx, everything I buy on line that ships with them is at my door in 3 to 5 days from anywhere in the US and in perfect condition.

I have no idea what the heck you're talking about.  The pants are still "there"?  Where is there?  USPS doesn't "sit on stuff until they want to deliver it.

I'm no fan of the USPS.  However, I have found that items shipped to me my UPS or FedEx and then dropped at my post office for my pick up are there.  I have not had any trouble with that procedure.

I get packages from Amazon, Walmart all delivered from the carrier then transferred to the local PO.  I think you should talk to your local Postmaster.

I know how frustrating it can be.  Hope you get your package tomarrow.

@ShowMe. Sorry for your issues.  Mine are the opposite.  These days, I prefer that UPS then consigns my package to USPS.  I'm having better luck with receiving packages during a reasonable time of day, among other things.  Good luck!
