I got a check yesterday for "premium refund", a whopping $14.00. I pay $1,200. a year in NJ so this check was a joke. Insurer; Plymouth Rock.

I have USAA for my Honda SUV and my Mazda sedan. It was nice to get an e-mail and an online deduction for both vehicles for two months each. Not a gigantic sum but a pleasant gesture.

@Mz iMac - thanks for posting this. Our agent said we'll be getting about $110. Thanks to Erie. We'll accept it. 🙂

Farmers refunded us about $50 on our two car policy's. I appreciate it.

@Linmo I hope you do. I have been run over twice by fellow SF policy holders that don't know what a stop sign is; one 50 feet from my driveway and one a few miles down the road.
I have been with my current agent for 20 years and they don't run corporate. It's amazing what little power they actually have on your behalf when it hits the fan. They really don't run the show.
Just be prepared because they shocked the heck out of me with a clear cut his fault, documented police report, ticket, and all. I actually had to threaten to take the kid to court myself before he got on SF who could have cared less about me being a customer longer than the kid had been alive and the obvious claim was settled on his policy not mine with my car finally repaired.

I believe the thinking is that people were doing a lot less driving, so there were fewer auto insurance claims. The companies are supposedly passing on their savings to the customers.
Kind of the opposite with home insurance. More folks spending more time at home does not equal fewer claims on homeowner policies. So no savings to pass on.

So where are you going to donate your rebate?

Being in the PNW we have our home and auto insurance with Pemco. They insure drivers in Washington and Oregon only. We got our refund check yesterday and it was for $18.00.
Not that I don't appreciate it but for the amount we pay them for both insurances I think they could have done better.

I have Allstate, I don't know if I noticed any credit to my account, I will have to look at my statement carefully.
