The storm track for Monday has shifted further south with NYC getting a trace but much higher amounts further south.  Still subject to change!

I'm sincere thankful the snow is staying south of us and won't impact the New England area.  I'm in MA.

I'm more than 200 miles north of NYC...we got about 4 inches..my plow guy was happy...Still flurrying.

I'm in the NE and enjoy the snow. It reminds me of sled riding, coming inside to warm up in front of the fire place with hot chocolate and buttered toast.

I like that every season brings something different, snowmen in winter, walking in the rain in spring, jumping in piles of leaves in autumn,  and holidays in summer.

For those out of the track of this current storm, a new one is now in the forecast.

It is projected to hit the Northeast  by next weekend with, preliminarily, "significant accumulations."  This would be the Nor'easter type rather than the current cross-country track.

Stay tuned, things change a week in advance,  meteorologically speaking.

@gidgetgh There is a trace of snow in the forecast now for Friday into Saturday in North GA. Lay your bets and grab the milk and bread now! 🤣

Guess we will just have to wait and seem what happens.

@bmorechick  Yes.  It was 2016.  Is was 32" fall.  I remember cars for miles unable to move.  Our university campus was closed for over a week.  So everyone working there was off work.  Just getting on campus was a chore, as even when the roads were clear, the snow was piled high .  Unable to put it anywhere. That was worse.  The pavements were unable to be cleared.

So sad for you and your family.  But you were with when she died.
