@songbird  You can have it I hope it stays south of the NYC area

As of right now, New York City is predicted to get 1-3 inches.

Of course,  subject to change since these lines shift, but I'm looking forward to it.  Not too little but not too much.

Here in NE Texas we will have our rain tomorrow then turn sunny before the 20º temps start on Sunday night through the next few days after that.  Between the 8 day ice storm here in 2021 and the 7º temps two years ago at Christmas I am not as much of a winter girl that I thought I was.

I start what I call my winter Mondays this week.  I close the office on Mondays from the beginning of January until the first Monday of March.  Then do it again from Memorial Day until July 4th.

I cannot begin to tell you how many of our bad weather days that cancel everything always happens on Mondays.  Drives me crazy.  Texas does shut down and stay home on winter days that other parts of the country would just keep on being out and about.

They did a forecast model of a foot of snow in Atlanta last week. People lost their minds. As always, rain for us instead as of now, but I'd love some snow though!

PA set to get the storm also.

Kids would be returning to school that day after a very long 16 day Christmas break.

Here, too, @songbird.  We finally got a little snow late yesterday.  It's cold enough, below freezing, that it's not melting.  About 20-25 miles north of us there was a large pileup overnight that involved multiple semis and passenger vehicles.  The cars were mangled and shredded.  There were lots of injuries but I haven't heard of fatalities.  I'd be very surprised if there weren't any.  I don't know if the snow was partly to blame or not.  Monday it will warm up some and we could get a couple of inches, higher amounts south of us.

Count me in as a Marylander too, I hate the snow, just a major inconvenience, and worry about my 74 year old hubby shoveling.
