A real favorite of mine is a concoction I eat for breakfast daily...and sometimes for lunch or dinner also:

A packet of instant fruit/cream oatmeal in any flavor mixed with protein powder, magnesium powder, coconut oil, and any flavor of yogurt.

Just throw if all in a bowl, heat and eat. Yum.

Ughhh!  Now @Moonchilde, peanut butter and Miracle Whip is just wrong, lol.  Where is my barf bag??

I used to eat peanut butter and miracle whip all the time as a kid!

I don't know if this odd, but all my life after Thanksgiving I have looked forward to a sandwich of cold turkey on bread spread with miracle whip and homemade cranberry-orange relish. I also love cream cheese, preserves (preferably bitter marmalade from England)' and a sprinkle of pecans rolled up in a lettuce leaf.

Some of these combinations are making me really queasy, especially the ones with Miracle Whip. I can't stand the smell, let alone the taste. It's sour and bland at the same time, and insults my palate.

Please please no Miracle Whip!! Woman Tongue

Oh I'm with you on the Miracle Whip @sunala, and that's the most perfect description of it I've ever read!

I totally agree too @Citrine1 and @sunala !! Ugh, it is awful. I can usually tolerate things but that is one I cannot stand. Add bologne or pimento loaf and you got one of the nastiness things on earth!

One of my faves is a peanut butter sandwich with sliced red onions.

Leftover cold pizza and milk when I was a kid, not now.

Sardine sandwiches with mayo and cheese

Sardines on crackers with mustard

Delicious stew containing organ meats -- gizzards, liver, hearts

Cream cheese spread on chunks of soppresata with any kind of nuts on top

Fig jam spread on chunks of muenster cheese

I agree about the Miracle Whip. It tastes like mayonnaise that turned sour. Disgusting!

My mom used to make pancakes for dinner & serve them with over-easy eggs between the pancakes &  with plenty of hamburger gravy over the top.  It was actually quite tasty.  You'd cut into the pancakes & the egg yolks would come out & I'd mix that in with the pancakes & gravy!

My mom liked peanut butter & bologna sandwiches, but that never appealed to me!

It's ... interesting tasting. And keeps the peanut butter from sticking. At least I don't add jelly to that combo ;-)

Aside from the Miracle Whip and peanut butter, I think most of these combinations actually sound good.  The only quirk I have is that I love the taste of potato chips after eating some chocolate.  My grandfather used to put Cool Whip on Buffalo wings.
