Lori got only 2 months....a slap on the wrist. Her husband got 5 months, plus the usual community service, etc. I am actually surprised either of them got a single day behind bars. it isn't over just yet...am sure they will appeal and everything will go away. It. was interesting to learn that the daughters were as fully involved as their parents; they did everything except write and sign the check. It must be nice to be above the same laws the rest of us follow. It took this long for them to admit guilt. She has two months before she has to report, so with the COVID situation, they will probably not serve any time at all...and the community service waived.

Sorry but she was fully aware of the situation and should receive the same, if not more, of a punishmeent.
Very smug and proud - and so are her two daughters - the apples did not fall far from the tree.

I agree with everything you stated!!! How could she not be fully aware??? I find these people revolting!!
Maybe so but I am sure they are having to go by actual evidence instead emotion for making the case, sentencing and punishment.
@beckyb1012 I agree.
As distasteful as this whole scandal has been, I see more emotional reactions here than the actual facts.
What Lori knew or didn't know isn't important. The sentencing and fines are enough, imo.
"Wiping smirks off smug faces" - this is going to go away as soon as the sentencing, service, and fines are finished.
Martha Stewart's crime was soon forgotten once she was back in her regular spotlight.
I see resentment about the rich and in this case yes-the money bought undeserved college placement. But in the end it all came out in their dirty laundry so whatever the final decision in terms of punishment is on the court, not on us.
I do not wish any harm to anyone; and I do believe time will not be served right now because of COVID-19.
I don't like what anybody did; but in time it will all be forgotten except by those who will always be hoping for a different result that just will not happen.

I am so THANKFUL that Hollywood is a dying thing. SO much abuse from that industry.

@Lucky Charm William Macy was not at all involved in any way, which is why he was not charged. Felicity did the deed all by herself. Must have been quite the discussion in that home when everything erupted.

Is this Mossimo, the same as Target's brand's?

I can only hope her career at hallmark is totally done. I know they bounced her, but I hope they don’t take her back. Her smug looks tell it all. I usually believe in second chances, but her attitude doesn’t deserve it.

@porcelain. How do you know they had to downsize their mansion and didn't simply choose to? Maybe they just chose not to love there because they were ostracized at the country club. Or maybe because their kids are grown up now.
I read that the house bordered the Bel Air Country Club golf course and the previous president of the club wrote a letter about the club allowing felons to retain membership. Since Mossimo and Loughlin resigned their membership to the club, it would make sense they'd want to move. I wouldn't want to border a golf course I'd never use or a club to which I had no membership.

I think the daughters should also be charged since it's evident they were in on the scam.

There is no more abuse in Hollywood than in any other sector of the economy. I can't believe that anyone would wish the death of movies, shows, and film.
