I once bought a box of tea from Amazon that arrived open with about a third of the teabags gone. I've also ordered makeup that has arrived used. It happens. Amazon is always good about refunding one's money.

I've placed at least 2 orders a week, for over 20 years.   Never had a problem.

The very first driver had to call me for directions...and then put it "in the system".

We've been with Amazon from almost the very beginning.  Never, ever had a problem with them.  Their customer Service is great.  We also became prime members from the beginning too.

Re: Items from amazon

[ Edited ]

I have really cut down on my driving time looking for certain items in stores, etc., that can easily be found on Amazon, it has become so convenient for me plus their return/refund policy is great, never a problem.

Maybe it's just me, but that seems like an odd thing for someone to steal. Amazon's warehouses are filled with millions of dollars worth of stuff and if someone is stealing something, it's probably not going to be four pieces of incontinence underwear. It seems more likely this was a mechanical issue where the package got damaged in some manner. I'd be shocked if this was a theft issue.

That was my initial thinking as well. If I was an Amazon thief, I know I would go for the good stuff! Woman LOL

I ordered a large bottle of Aveeno lotion. The left side of the bag wasn't sealed properly so the bottle fell out. Received a new one the next day. Told two acquaintances at two different times, about it. First thing they both said was theft. Why do some people always think the worse.

One of them said the driver should have known the lotion wasn't in the bag. That was a dumb thing to say. I guess the driver should know what I ordered.

Incontinence underwear may seem like a strange thing to steal, however... Not long ago it was widely reported that among Amazon warehouse workers' complaints about working conditions was that they were not permited enough bathroom breaks and women on the packing lines found it necessary to wear diapers and incontinence underwear. Just a theory.

The last time I ordered Halloween candy a few years ago, I had a six pack Hershey package opened with two of the full size bars missing. I threw that whole packet away, but it does happen.

I am so sorry it happened to you @goldensrbest . It's frustrating paying and then waiting for something that you don't get.
