@Iwantcoffee right - but Amazon has thousands of employees and one in the thousands stole. She could go buy locally and check each package before she paid or ask Amazon for the refund or replacement she wanted, but I cannot relate to OP's overreaction.

I am sorry that this happened to you. Once is bad enough, but twice speaks to a problem at the warehouse. I say this as a huge fan of Amazon, and a person that has ordered plenty from them, and never had a theft. What are the odds of this happening to the same person. I would definitely be on the phone with CS to receive a credit which you will receive.

My overreaction? I think you owe me a apology, there was NO OVER REACTION IN my post ! Sometimes i wonder about where you need to be so out of content. I just stated a fact.

Since Amazon has everything, I no longer shop in stores. I'd rather take my chances with Amazon than get in the car and go shopping. I've never had any product arrive opened.

If you choose not to shop with Amazon any more then I would check Costco or BJ's for your needs. Both sell what you are looking for.
Have been shopping with Amazon Prime for more years than I can remember. I think once their was a problem with my order and when I contacted Amazon they took care of it right away. Their CS is awesome. So what you have stated would not make me shop elsewhere. Their track record is fantastic for me.

@Kachina624 You said it! Another thing is we can find things on Amazon we would have to look all over town for then maybe not find. Need a light blub? They have ALL kinds. Batteries? ALL sizes. Vinegars you can't get at the grocery store, etc.
And we happen to live not far from the UPS store, so don't have to pack most things up to return. And you have a good long time to return them!

Amazon is great when a refund is needed and you receive your money back very quickly. I agree with some others here, don't write them off as I bet you and everyone has had more good experiences than bad. Not to mention they are just so darn convenient and fast delivery. A lot faster than QVC, HA!

Never ever had a problem with Amazon. Any issue has been resolved in my favor and quickly, I might add. Missing packages, items that are damaged or missing inside the order.... always made it good without any questions asked. And because of Prime I don't pay for shipping in either direction. And the returns are the very best since all I have to do is take them to Kohls and they will pack it up and send. Instant credit. Amazing beyond words.
