I'm really not interested and don't even open these threads. You have to be a very shallow, superficial person to be so enthralled with this type of news. I couldn't care less. There are many, many more interesting people who die and we don't hear a word about it.

Actually I read it on MSN. After reading about the terrorist attacks, Shandlings death was posted. Ive been learning more about the Holocaust, but that's too emotional to describe At the moment.

@Suziepeach, no, I received it, and flagged it. Have several others I need to respond to. But the print on my e-mail is rather small and when my vision is blurred, as it is today, I find it hard to type. Between the vision and tingling in my hands, sometimes typing drives me crazy.

I'm loving the answers we are getting on here. I was curious, and even said I have done it once or twice. I don't have facebook, and never will..... The first thing I see on my computer once I've signed in is the MSN face page provided by Charter, my internet provider.
@ShowMe, thanks for letting me know you got it... That's fine, I sure understand what you're going through.. just know I am thinking about you & sending you major hugs... They think I've a pinched nerve in my neck so I've been having big time tingling and etc. too.. had an MRI today of my neck and a follow up CT of my arteries, for that other issue..

Oh Suzie......so sorry you are having to go through all that. Hate the MRIs, CT, and PETscans....... I've had 2 MRIs, and 3 PETscans, and am due for my 4th PET on the 14th......they need to do that to keep track of everything and see if any more has appeared or if any has cleared up. Good luck, and will say an extra prayer for you. Keep me posted..... That darn tingling is nothing but nerves, and hopefully it will stop once I am done with the chemo. I know, that is more than a year to go.

I quite often find out news here that I would otherwise not know about. Then I go and check out the details.

Also, I don't understand when people complain about topics that are posted. Just skip them if you aren't interested. I don't read every single topic, I just browse the topics and respond to the ones I'm interested in.

I'm with you. I skip topics dedicated to complaining about how some woman looks or what she wears. I try to skip topics that complain endlessly about today's young people. OMG, that goes back to the ancient Greeks. What a total bore that is, as if those complaining were never young.

Boy, I hardly ever open those threads. Once I have seen the title I have already read about it or heard it some place else.....
