Bruce Springsteen Writes Tardy Note For Kid At Concert

What a nice person. A nine-year-old boy at a Springsteen concert held up a sign about being late for school the next day and needing a tardy note. Bruce told his people to have the boy and his dad (a longtime Springsteen fan) come backstage after the concert and Bruce wrote the boy a very cute note indeed. Bruce is a dad himself, and a very nice guy it seems.

Of course he can excuse the boy's tardiness. After all, he IS the BOSS!

Awesome I could have used tardy notes from Bruce concerts at least 12 times while I was in High School!

They caught Bruce on a good day- he was such an obnoxious a$$ to the crowd when I took my son to see him in concert!! I haven't even been tempted to go to a Bruce concert since- and my son (now 23) wants no part of him!!!

Love the music, but have to admit I have heard the same thing, he was described as "mercurical".

I've seen him many times in concert and so have many of my friends. He wasn't anything like what you described.

I've seen Bruce a ton of times with the E Street Band - he wasn't with the Band this particular time. Not even Patti! There is no masking the true persona when a performer is on stage solo.
