A very cool, dark room. I use a ceiling fan on every night.
I have bamboo sheets and a light blanket on. My husband throws a lot of heat, so I'm always too warm.

I have trouble sleeping. I can't sleep for more than 2 hrs at a time.
I'm usually up every hour to two, but even to get that amount of sleep, my room must be cool to cold.

It's never been a problem for me.
Anywhere, anytime, sitting up or lying down. I've even dozed off while at the keyboard, or sitting on the couch knitting.
Since I've retired, I treat myself to mid-morning naps, afternoon naps, or after dinner naps.
Be on the alert you might have heart issues. My husband was like that before he died. Fell asleep all the time couldn't stay awake, etc.

In my bedroom, never during an important meeting!

I love to sleep in a very cool room. 60* is heavenly. Don't turn heat on in the winter usually.
King sized bed and I sleep on the edge of it! Husband literally sleeps where I should be. Half the bed is empty.
I do fall asleep watching TV, which they say is bad. But I'm asleep during the 1st commercial. Can't watch news or crime/horror shows. Either recorded The Lucy Show or Jack Benny. (I'm so exciting!)
Brightness does wake me up. I like a dark room in the morning. Can wake up early in summer and sleep till 10 in the winter. If I move up north, I'll sleep till noon!
Don't mind waking up to a cold house, even though I'm not fond of cold. For some reason, I'm warm for a while after I wake up.
I hate when I'm sleeping elsewhere (my kid's homes, hotels) and the heat is waaay up. I can't sleep thru the night and wake up all stuffy. I've opened the windows wide in the dead of winter, if it's too hot or turned the air on (hotel).

😉 Was gonna write the same thing. @SloopJohnB
I've always worried, "What if there's a fire?" I can never get to sleep thinking about that so I always throw on a nightie. 😂I keep the tv on until I'm at the brink of delirium, and then I shut it and turn facing the wall and it's over!

Due to a medical issue, I must have 9 hrs of sleep each night. Figured out I need pitch black (mask) , cool temp, propped up on three pillows (medical issue). I sleep in a fleece robe around me over pajamas and fleece socks. Over that, a top sheet, comforter, then a fleece blanket. DH sleeps in boxers, no shirt, and on the bottom sheet onIy. I would love fleece sheets but DH freaks out at the thought of that because he gets so hot when he sleeps. He snores, but only if he eats ice cream or drinks milk at night. He is also up and down all night going to the bathroom but I sleep though it all now.

Like most here, I like my bedroom cool, dark and quiet. I also can't sleep with anything on my legs. No long pajama bottoms, not even in the dead of winter. I'm a light sleeper, so if hubby is snoring, I go sleep in the spare bedroom.

We like a cool room. When it stays 50 degrees all night, I'll get out the electric blanket.
DH and the pup both snore and I have a white noise machine.
