I watched a show on HSN Saturday night.  The host was not the best, so QVC is not the only one.  I dont want to mention the show or hosts name.  I did watch the entire show because I was interested in a couple of items.

My intent was not to be critical of any one person. It just seems when I tune in I have to get through all kinds of small talk in order to understand the product.  So I go online instead if I have any interest in what is being sold.  Mostly the prices are beyond what I am willing to pay and no host using any tactic could convince me.  But from a curiousity standpoint I do wonder what happened to the good old days where hosts and vendors stuck to the products.

This will never happen because most comments about the hosts just get too personal, all in the name of "helping someone's shopping experience."

@skatting44  @I agree.  I do not sit in front of my computer or even carry my cell phone with me everywhere.  When I see something on air, I would like the bust, hip, and length of clothes.  I am between sizes, and the measurements matter.  If that info were on air, I could decided if I am interested enough to buy it.  Whether or not the garment actually matches those measurements is another story though.

@Puppy LipsWhere are you watching from that you have no access to the internet to check details?  In less than a minute I can turn on  my laptop or PC or phone and check out details on anything!

@Pook Well, I could be in bed for one.  Computers are off.  Cell phone is charging in the other room.  Sure if I REALLY wanted to get out of bed and head to my phone in a dark house and stand there and look up measurements, I could.  Or I could turn off the TV and go to sleep.  If I had the measurements, I could make up my mind whether or not I wanted it, then I would not mind heading to my phone.  They used to display measurements on air and I don't understand why they don't.  Too much other nonsense going on I suppose.  And I don't have a laptop as I have no need for one.

It gets tiring to see so many daily complaints about the company that owns the boards. Maybe they feel that the moderators should be spending most of their time performing actual customer service. It does not surprise me that these boards are closing.
