Regarding Kate, there has been a deluge of stories and photos about her, William, and their children since Meghan and Harry left. Kate has admitted to a host of thoughts, behaviors, e.g. not wanting to give birth and almost immediately pose for the people and press,, for which Meghan was criticized. Several British publications, Daily Mail and Business Weekly for example, along with US publications, e.g US Weekly, have numerous articles about the family. For whatever reason they are positioning themselves as less aloof and more relatable, it seems a bit planned.
On a positive note, the royal children all look healthy and happy; that is a blessing.

I always felt bad for Kate, when she was paraded out for pictures, right after giving birth. Yes she may be royal, she's also a woman who's carried a baby for 9 months, apparently, had tough pregnancies, in the early months, and has just given birth. I suspect the last thing she wanted, was to look pretty and pose for pictures! No reason, why the new Mom and Dad, couldn't have a few days, at least, to, rest and catch their breath, bond with their new family member, before posing for pictures.
I'd think an announcement of the birth, that everyone was well, and the parents, were looking forward to introducing the baby, "soon", would be just fine.
I don't feel bad for Kate at anytime. She's got a team of people--hairdressers, stylists, ladies-in-waiting tending to her every need 24/7. Not to mention a full staff of cooks, nannies, etc. Feel bad for the commoners who look like c**p after birth and don't have all the help she does.

@Zernia Rose. I think being less aloof and more relatable whether planned or not is a positive note in itself. I don't know why you don't see it as such.
To other posters, passive aggressive comments, that is, being critical throughout a post and then wishing someone a nice day or evening or to stay safe at the end of the post are just that --- passive aggressive. The faux well wishes at the end of such a post are not credible whatsoever and are dripping with insincerity.
It amazes me that some posters must deflect Meghan's own bad behavior onto posters who dislike her for that behavior. Meghan's defenders thus purport to know the posters they themselves accuse of not being able to know Meghan. Cakers says it's within the posters themselves. Really? On the one hand I don't know Meghan so disliking her is supposedly a flaw within me yet you think you know me? Horse feathers. 👎
I don't know much about Meghan. I see a woman I don't know personally holding her first baby with love in her eyes. I see, more than anything, a sweet baby! If you looked into my photo albums you would see much of the same kind of pictures.
I once knew a woman I thought...."wow, is she something else". I got to know her better and she ended up being one of my all time favorite people. Little did I see, at the time, that she had some really redeeming qualities. Personally, I think we need to be very careful what kind of light we shed on other people. I'm sure we have all been guilty of doing this at sometime in our life but it's very painful for the person on the receiving end. Probaby most of us have been there at one time or another and it hurts.

Archie is a big baby. By the time he's in kindergarten, he'll be a s big as his mother

Maybe it's the camera angle....I have never seen a "new" one year old that size! He's definitely a cute kid, but I snort when a poster keeps calling him "wee Archie." There's nothing "wee" about him!

Prince Harry
Comparing the latest footage of Archie with Harry's baby photos shows that their similarities are uncanny. Both Archie and Harry have distinct red hair, though Archie's is still growing in. Their eyebrows and cheekbones seem to have a similar structure as well.
Almost immediately after the video was posted, people began posting on social media to comment on how much Archie takes after his father.
Archie seems to look more and more like Prince Harry as he ages, but only time will tell if his resemblance to his father will continue to grow as he gets older.

It confounds me when Archie is called a big baby. He's tall, not big. Prince William is 6'3", Prince Harry is 6'1" and Prince Phillip was 6', being tall is a family trait.
I am sensitive to the use of the word big when it should be tall. My husband was 6'5", my son when born was 24" and is now 7'2" and my granddaughter at 3 years of age is 46".
He will be a tall handsome man when full grown.
@Pearlee Love Horse feathers! Made me laugh!!!

@Somertime I certainly meant no offense to any tall person....and apologize if it came across that way. When I say he is a big baby...it's his overall size.... height, the size of his head and limbs. Nothing grotesque....he's very cute.
My teenage grandsons are 6'2" and 6'3".......but their growth spurts happened around ages 14-15.

I do not think Kate had a problem doing what Will's Mom did.
