Call me Batgirl! In the South, summer is the same as entering hell. I love fall and winter. I love it getting dark early, romance and all that. Love halloween too! DILLY, DILLY! ![]()

I love the concept of fall; the clear blue skies, bright leaves, the shadows, the food, the balloon fiesta. I hate to see summer end. I like long summer days and the clothes I wear. As a displaced Texan, it seems like the short, cold, dark days of winter go on forever.

@buyornot Honey, no one dislikes fall as much as I! The leaves are wet and dead on the roads or dead and brown as the cold air blows them around. Tons of dust is created until it rains, making the entire mess slippery to walk on. Trying to sleep late on Saturday morning is impossible but is joyous waking up to a leaf blower! Lastly I dislike orange, mustard, red brown, and yellow green.
Surprisingly, I do like the clear blues, reds and greens of winter. Chocolate brown, smoke, and blacks. Blue crisp skys of winter, the evergreens, Christmas, spiced tea (it's better then, not in October, don't ask me why...). Snow, warm banana bread and hot tea.! Ah.............the luster of white snow under a blue sky!

I am ready for Fall. I live in the Southwest and have been listening to the A/C humming since April. Can't wait until I can turn that off and open the doors. One thing I am not ready for is Fall means the holidays are coming.

Absolutely love this @Sweet Caroline 1 ! I have loved Fall/Winter since I was a little kid. Overcast cool days, rainy days, snow all make me happy! By the time August rolls around I actually start to get a little depressed, if that makes me a weirdo then so be it! Have a wonderful Halloween and enjoy every minute of Fall and Winter! ![]()

Fall is my VERY favorite season, I love everything about it (except time change). Love fall colors, & crisp air.I don't like winter, when it's cold, I do not want to leave my house. Spring is ok, I look forward to flowers blooming. Summer is hit & miss, I can't take the extreme Texas heat. I like the longer lighter days. I would take fall 24/7/365.
My DIL hates every season except summer. She is (at this time) making remarks about hating fall/winter. I think she says it, cuz she knows I love fall, lol. You know, if I say black, she says white, that mind set.

Well, it's officially autumn. So there. ![]()
(For those of us who love the season, don't get so smug. Summer's just around the corner.)

I don't mind Fall so much but I hate what comes after it. I don't like ice and snow. I can handle the cold temperatures, just not the ice and snow.
I always have tons of yard work in the fall. I have 7 huge trees in the back yard so raking and mulching and bagging take a lot of time. I also have a lot of yard work in March-April.

I absolutely adore fall. October is my favorite month of the year by far. Cool, crisp days, cozy sweaters, a hearty meal in front of the fireplace with a glass of red wine. Love it all. I live in New England and “leaf peeping” is big business up here. Starting in mid October, my husband and I usually spend one day each week driving to a different area looking for great scenery. One week it might be Southern Vermont, another Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire, or maybe Kennebunkport in Maine. We’ll stop somewhere for lunch and just make a day of it. We look forward to this tradition every year.
I do not like winter as I detest snow. I don’t mind the cold. Except for the most brutal temperatures, I can pile on the layers and go for a walk. But snow? That’s just a colossal pain in the neck as far as I’m concerned.
I like summer but I’m finding that the older I get, the less I can tolerate extreme heat and especially humidity. I do love that the days are longer in summer and I especially love fresh tomatoes and corn on the cob.
Today it’s upper sixties, bright sunshine, with a slight breeze. Perfect. Bring on autumn!
