When I'm ready for a pick-me-up, I pour about 3/4 coffee over ice with 1/4 of whatever milk I have on hand. It could be fat-free, 1%, or 2 %. Add a splash of syrup and enjoy!
Do the sugar free syrups has artificial sweetners?
@granddiI don't know of any sugar free coffee syrups that do not contain artifical sweetners. I don't see how they could make a syrup without them. I personally think they taste terrible (wayyy too sweet and chemical tasting) but I don't use anything with artificial sweetners since they are just as bad for you (but in a different way) than true sugar.

@granddi Yes, they contain Sucralose (Splenda). If you have a sensitivity, or aversion, to artificial sweeteners you may not be interested, but in case you are, I'll post the brand. The ones from Bed Bath and Beyond are Jordan's Skinny Syrups. Other than the flavors posted above I've also had Gingerbread, Pumpkin, and Peppermint Mocha--they were seasonal--and all very good.
Target sometimes has sugar-free coffee syrup but it also contains Sucralose. Hope that helps! ![]()

I would give up anything to have my starbucks iced coffee. I don't get it every day, but sure would like to. I consider myself an iced coffee connoisseur.
Not a fan of McDonald's. To me it has a bitter taste.
Not a fan of Dunkin Donuts. To me it tastes really weak. No matter how little creamer I put in it, it ends up tasting like creamer. I like the hot coffee though.
I get a venti iced coffee black with one sweet and low with cream on the side. I like to add my own cream. If they put it in, it's way too much. Love the iced coffee. Not a fan of the hot coffee, go figure.

I am not a coffee drinker but my daughter and husband are. THey loved iced coffee as well. I saw Pioneer Womans recipe for iced coffee one day and it got so many great reviews so I made it for the two of them. THey LOVE it. My husband and daughter only like certain coffees though so they order it online. They love coffee from Kona, Blue Mountain, Ethiopia and Sumatra so I used whatever I have in the house from these choices.
Anyone who has tried it really loves her recipe.
I wish I liked coffee because I absolutely love the smell but I have tried it again and again and many different ways and I just don't like it at all.

I drink mine iced with no sugar, just a bit of 2%. And mr henny has his iced with sugar. It kills me to spend a ton at a coffee shop. Peets gives us iced coffee when we go to buy our bags of coffee.
If we go to a coffee place it is because we are out and want to take a break from whatever we are doing.
@hennypenny I can't believe I was going to post the same exact thing! Every few days I brew a pot of Dunkin Donuts ground coffee (I buy the 1-pound bags, and I get a discount if I buy 4). When the coffee cools, I pour it into a few pitchers and refrigerate. I will now have DD iced coffee for a few days, and it saves a ton of money over buying large iced coffees at DD. I add a splash of whole milk, and I'm good to go. No sweetener for me, please.
Iced coffee is my very favorite drink. I'm actually drinking it right now from my Tervis cup. It stays iced for hours!

@GCR18, I'm right there with you on Starbucks. Have you ever made your iced coffee with their espresso? Read my previous post above to see how I do it!

@GCR18 Dunkin Donuts regular coffee is ,I agree pretty weak, but if you ask for a turbo shot in a medium size it's pretty strong. I always order this when I'm out and I add cream. It's still strong. Good luck in your quest!

@soonersis A couple times I've gone to Starbucks in the afternoon and ordered an ice coffee and they were out. They suggested an espresso iced coffee. It tasted like watered down iced coffee. The good thing was they don't charge you for the drink when they run out. I'll have to go back and read that other post. Thanks

I'll have to try that sometime when I visit family on the east coast. Here in the Midwest, we only have one dunkin donuts. It's a couple towns over, so it's not convenient to get to. Thanks for the tip.
