I am also thankful for amazon prime.  I need to make an EFFORT to watch more of the shows and listen to the movies etc.  I live outside of DC and for me, it is the convenience more than anything.  I'll just give one example, it takes me 1 hour and 1 minutes to get to to work, then I work all day, then in the evening it takes me 1 hour and 30 minutes to get home, when I get HOME, I'm DONE.

I'm not going to any store, and I have a target and walmart within a 15 minute drive but I'm done, when I get home after work I want to come home and SIT DOWN.

I order for the ease of convenience, the pacakages come in 2 days, and even if stores are close by sometimes they don't have the item you want.  But I can say, I do believe that we are still "paying" for the shipping. I have noticed a few items that they are cheaper in the store but if you factor in the cost of your TIME, your gas, etc. it equals to either close to the same price or "close".

But there are also many products that I can't find as easily in the stores such as my husbands size 15 5e(extra wide) shoes. Also I find slips on amazon and other unique items.

I have a phrase -

Sometimes you have to "PAY" for convenience.  That is how I feel about amazon prime.

Happiness is ALWAYS an inside job,
Don't assign anyone else that much POWER
in your life!!!
