@Goldengate8361 I totally agree. There is no way in the world he intended to kill anyone and didn't think there were blanks in that gun. The DA's job is political and many decisions are made on that basis. High profile case. Yada yada yada

News reports said there were videos of him firing the gun which lead to this indictment .
Why was he pointing the gun at her?

@Trailrun23 ...They are having Motion Hearings from both sides today...Tomorrow, Jury Selection will begin and the Trial is to start on Wednesday, according to Court TV.
Do you think it would be best to start a new thread (Alec Baldwin Trial) as this thread dates back to January when he was indicted?
Yes!
I think this would be an excellent idea!

ok!
The article I remember reading SEEMED factual...
it was released closer to the first of the incident.
It was one of those "news articles" one gets (and I often only read the title)
sonit left me with lots of questions.
I believe theories were being thrown around, none of which were true accounts.
Maybe we will find out more facts as the trial progresses?

I've fired guns. But I have never & would never aim any gun at a person, even a gun I was assured was empty. Accidents happen all the time. As we can see. But this is just me.
