Lots of fireworks in the court room today! Very bad day for the prosecution. It will be a miracle if the case doesn't get dismissed. Kari Morrisey is losing her mind and the judge telling her that she is ordered to testify under oath is something you don't hear everyday. Smiley Surprised

HOLY SMOKES!!      WTH??

"The judge dismissed the involuntary manslaughter charges against Alec Baldwin on Friday, hours after his lawyers alleged police and prosecutors hid evidence related to the live round that killed Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021. It's a stunning turn of events just two days after testimony in the criminal case began."

Yes, Kari Morrissey was the lead prosecutor. She became offended today when she was accused of knowingly withholding evidence from the defense and said she would testify under oath that she knew nothing about it. Needless to say, it didn't go well.

My favorite part was when she was under cross and Alec's lawyer asked her about some extremely unflattering comments she had made about him. Of course in typical lawyer fashion she "couldn't recall." Smiley Very Happy

There have been so many different stories on this case it is ridiculous. From the initial story I read to all of the accounts on these boards, how can anyone make out the truth. He and his family must be so relieved.

If the prosecutor tried to frame him because she didnt like him, she should be charged. It is really scarey that people in these types of power seats are not doing the right thing based on their like or dislikes of someone or the fame they seek. They are toying with people's lives.

My thoughts are still with the woman's family.  Feels with the circus, people are forgetting someone lost their life by just going to work one day.
