Can anyone explain where all the WEN products on Ebay come from? I can understand an individual selling pieces from a kit that they don't use. But some of the sellers seem to have a large supply all the time. I think they are real and not knockoffs. I have even bought some, like the WVM. I just wonder if they buy up some kind of overstock? It surely can't pay them to order at the prices we pay. Just curious.

Well, the earlier post got poofed for some reason, so I guess it must be a state secret or something.
My take on it is that the e-bay sellers are Wen contractors, so Chaz Dean pretty much hits all the retail markets with his products - QVC, infomercials, print ads & e-bay.
I even see brand new Wen products up for auction at shopgoodwill.com.

There are bona fide businesses that sell on ebay not just individual type sellers. I buy certain fiber & yarn products on Ebay from a shop that has a retail location near Spokane. Also some individuals may not have a retail shop, but they operate ebay as a regular business. I used to volunteer with a woman who bought toys at wholesale and sold them through ebay. She went to the toy trade shows and dealt with the toy companies just like a buyer from a store would do.

I bought from a seller that had only two listings for Wen, even in the completed listings section. I figured that seller was NOT counterfeiting it unless she got scammed herself, which is possible. My WVM CC came with 2 pumps, Chaz Dean catalog and the WVM gift box. The label doesn't look exactly like my old WVM bottle so who knows. I think the labels for Guthy-Renker and Chaz Dean Studios look different from the ones on QVC too.
I can't compare the products since I kept that old bottle just to refill from my gallon of SAM. I've used the new WVM once and I thought it was good.
I just really wanted WVM again

I reported it and I'm reporting this one, too.
Explaining how the ebay scalpers get their product is a blueprint for creating more ebay scalpers. The next time you want a good TSV or OTO and your favorite formula is sold you, remember this.

What am I missing?
Threads here are getting reported because eBay has alleged scalpers?! What does that have to do with QVC?

I over purchased some Wen products and sold them on Ebay. No biggie.

You need to remember that some people think Wen is a religion and not just a hair product.

Why is selling legitimate WEN products on ebay considered scalping? I know many ebay sellers who list beauty items on ebay that they get as part of a kit, because they don't use that particular item but it was grouped in with other items that they will use.

And it seems that Wen QVC is the church.
The TT Oil at QVC is backordered and GR doesn't carry it. Thanks to this thread, I found it on eBay and it will be delivered next week!
