This thread is so informative. RMS reminded me of my grandmother when I was a little girl. She was so soft spoken, humble, and had a touch of old Hollywood glam. Her line is definitely one that I will be watching. Thank you so much, @Shanus for your knowledge and answering so many questions. I wish I could get a consultation with you. LOL

@GoldenHour Sharing knowledge is my pleasure. Consultation? Fun, huh?

@Shanus wrote:@vsm @Bibione Did you catch her hint of moisturizing under the brows? It's sometimes a missed area during skincare.
I did catch that, @Shanus. I've been using a dab of JMaran's Face Milk under the brows for several years now. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves that delicate skin soft and hydrated and not at all greasy. It also never interferes with shadow application -- in fact, it works better than any of the many primers I've tried. (And I say that as someone who's not a fan of JM herself. I'm willing to give credit wherever it's due.)

@ Shanus ... they photographed a touch darker than they actually are in person!

@nyc1 Ah, brings back so many memories. I remember how the testers were set up on counters. There were less products in the beginning. Bobbi didn't do concealers or correctors until later. Her theory, at first, was to use the stick foundations (there were no other foundations) in a skin correct shade and a stick a shade lighter for concealer. If I'm rushed, I still can get ready with my 2 sticks. Blush was in a stick, too. Three sticks can do your own face.
Eyes were three pots that she recommended for almost everyone....because they worked, but also there wasn not a great selection of shadows in the beginning....bone, taupe and mahogany. Even as the line developed, three neutral shades continued as her look. Do you remember being told to wet your brush and use the darker shades as liner? The best way to line eyes ever!
Thank you for the trip down memory lane.

I yes if you go to YOUTUBE and put in her name Rose Marie Swift you will find many videos of her doing demos of RMS for clean beauty stores like Credo , Dermstore etc . I use only cruelty free products and as i had said in a prior post some did not work for me (coconut oil ) others were wonderful . Its funny I was thinking of trying her products last week . I cleaned out things that were used up ,old etc and looking to get a few items . I did not watch this video , but I seehere it was not as good as it could be . On these videos Rose Marie's personality really shines . She is lovely . There is also a RMS Beauty Channel where there are several videos on "how Tos" for different products and Rose Marie demonstrates .

I wonder what Bobbi Brown thinks of this RMS beauty line which is quite similar to her new Jones Road...luminizers, few shades in each product, natural, less is more approach?
