Did anyone else notice the model Brooke (I think) who has naturally long lashes and they use her to demo mascara? She usually ends up with long, clumpy, spider lashes, but with the RMS mascara, it looked more natural.

Congrats, I think, for anyone who read that long intro to the thread. ![]()

@Shanus OMG ... you are FABULOUS. THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GREAT AND INFORMATIVE POST. I'm always happy to read what you have to say and hear your opinion on various lines and products..... and methods of application.
I thought RM was LOVELY! She has such a calm, gentle and reserved personality. SO REFRESHING. I appreciated her tips and actually applied my blush differently today! I bought the lip balms and mascara. I missed the first part of the show so I missed out on several other things. I'm hoping to like what she has and use her products if I do.
Thanks again for taking the time to help us all... you are our make up and skin care guru!
Sending a hug of appreciation.
BTW ... I thought of you this morning when I was applying my eyeshadow. You will be amazed to know that I have some of the ORIGINAL BB eye shadows.... the ones BEFORE the squares that popped into the cases that you could create. These are heavy round black cases and I have the MOCHA, CEDAR and BLACK PLUM ... that I use sparingly. AMAZING COLORS and my favorites.

@nyc1 Thank you for all the kind remarks. You'll give me a swelled head. I love my work and answering questions/giving advice here...sometimes butting in when not asked. Sorry for that.

@Shanus You don't butt in ... I truly apperciate when you have a strong opinion on something. You're not forcing anyone to change or do something they don't want to do, but it's always good to hear from someone who knows a lot about a topic and is willing to share. Much appreciated.

@nyc1 Uh, time to toss those BB shadows...maybe 25-30 yrs. old? They were the first she made. I'm not sure they're safe for the eyes now.

They are at LEAST 30 years old. Not tossing anything. Have not had a problem using them, they are my FAVORITE COLORS, apply beautifully and stay on all day. I can't toss them .... they are too beautiful !!!!! I'll live on the edge here!
@Shanus Edited to add... I also have a TOVA color that she introduced when she first came to QVC. How long ago was that? It's called Secret Shade and I have THREE OF THEM! LOVE LOVE LOVE ... using using using!!!!!!!

@nyc1 Re: your new blush application. I place 2 fingers next to the nose (usually ends up mid-eye under the iris), feel for the cheekbone and go one horizontal finger up...difficult to explain when writing this...That gives you the place to apply blush. Sweep upwards and blend.

@nyc1 The Tova blush can accompany the shadows in the trash bin. LOL

I understand completely. I love make up and it's the first thing I do every morning after I brush my teeth and shower! I was starting the blush a little lower and going up in a small circular motion, blending.... now I started a little higher. I like that.
