my stylist shampoos me.

 

i think in salons where you have someone shampoo you and then have a stylist, the stylist should be responsible for seeing that the shampoo person gets their gratuity. 

 

that's how it works in restaurants with bartenders and bus service.  the waitstaff at the end of the shift splits their tips with them.
