Out to a local and nice but not formal dinner with another couple. Then back to my house for dessert and ring in the new year!

I normally don't go to bed before midnight so staying up s no big deal to me.

We stay safely at home, snuggling in front of the TV/laptop/whatever, avoiding drunk drivers.

I have spent a couple of NYE in Las Vegas and a few in San Francisco. Always fun when you can stay in the hotel and not drive. After several years of working in a Trauma Center I am never on the road. I don't watch the festivities on TV just settle down with a good book and get up early to watch the Rose Parade.

Recover from Christmas, and a really, really bad cold. I hate NYE. Always have. Probably order a pizza, watch a movie, beg my DH to rub my feet and be asleep by 10:30.

We usually go to a party at a local place, this year we are going to a local very low key Cajun place for dinner and music,it should be a lot of fun

We are invited to a NYE party at a friend's house, but we will probably just stay home, watch TV, snuggle with our dogs and be in bed well before midnight! LOL

There is nothing special about spending a lot of time with a bunch of drunks.

When the kids were young, we would shoot fireworks at midnight, then I would cook a load of pancakes. The kids loved it.

Next morning we made them go out & pick up all the remnants of the fireworks.

They didn't like that quite as much!

The plan is to go to Newport Beach for an early dinner and home before the roads get too crazy. We’ll watch the festivities on TV, enjoy a glass or two of wine, then up early, watch the Rose Parade, then head to the Rose Bowl! I’m originally from Ohio and hubby got tickets so we can watch right alongside Buckeye Nation! So excited!
