The weather is miserable today. I'm always nervous when we have these quick changes. But that's spring in the mid west.
I did find some sandals that will work and to top it off a pair of purple trimmed tennis shoes. I already have a red pair
Bernie, I hope your sis does well in rehab.
Scott is home and slowly but surely making progress. His incision is almost completely healed and he is able to move around more.
Merle had surgery on his forehead yesterday. Removal of two basal cells. They have a pressure bandage on it but it is tine to remove. That first one is always hard but I would be so happy to get that big lump bandage off and settle for a normal one. He had to ice it yesterday and he was very faithful. That gives me a headache just thinking about it. He has to do these surgeries frequently. They are still encouraging him to do the blue light treatment but he says he doesn't have time.

Betty, glad to hear that Scott is progressing - am sure that progress will continue. Poor Merle, I recall he has had these problems for a very long time. I suspect while he may not have the time for the Blue Something or other, he has been extremely patient in taking care of himself. I would find that as an ongoing thing very problematic. He needs an extra hug from you Betty. LOL.
Thank you one and all for sending my daughter BD wishes . Very very kind of you.
One load of clothes out on the line - a real chore this morning - things seem to keep getting more difficult to do. LOL. Perhaps some of that is in my mind. Biggest complaint I have is my thumbs, they just will not latch on to things and just to pick up a clothes pin, it takes forever. I have not figured out how to use the hands without a thumb.
As usual, will leave some coffee and I also have some more of those yummy blueberry bagels - cream cheese also - of course.
Have a great day.

Has your appetite changed?
‎03-24-2016 08:21 PM
Yes,Bernie,I am not eating as much due to my GI problems,N/ V .
that will do it all right!

My sister had the flu and the first week in the hospital after she fell down, she lost 6 pounds. Rapid weight loss makes me nervous so I always go back to appetite. In my sister's case, before she fell down, she cut out all soda pop so weight really starting to fall off of her.

Hello everyone - ready for Easter? Well there are those of us who will have to cook and some of us will luck out and just be able to eat and not cook. I think I would much prefer being an eater and not cooker this go round. Do not think, however, I could work that out. LOL.
Another very chilly morning but suspect if the predictions hold up, it will be a very warm day in the 80s. More rain is predicted for Sunday and Monday. As much as we need the rain I hope it does not rain on Sunday until Sunday evening. Want to do something with Ricky outside - like maybe an Easter Egg hunt or something. Whatever, we will make it work.
Have a good day everyone.

Since my DH passed, I see no point in making a big dinner for any holiday. I'm not much of an eater and surely not much of a meat eater so there is no need to cook a turkey or ham or any significant meat dish.
With my eldest sister in rehab and my middle sister and I still in the workforce, I think the theme of this Easter, aside from celebrating the Resurrection, will be rest :-)
