I believe that a meal shared in a positive setting does our bodies even more good than its nutritional information guide could outline. Start with a smarter/cleaner/more nutritionally sound meal and you’re on the right track. Share it with those you love: true Wellness.
March 8 is International Women’s Day (IWD), a United Nations-designated global holiday that celebrates the contributions of women around the world. QVC is proud to celebrate our female entrepreneurs (including those who got their start here) from March 8 to the end of the month with a special collection of products inspired by the vision of these women.
One way to do that is what I call “raising your vibration.” Committing a random act of kindness, or an act of self care, or savoring a sweet thought or moment that can lift your spirit and escalate the tone of your entire day. Vibration-raisers are wonderful ways to shift yourself back into balance on days when you might feel defeated, overwhelmed or just plain moody.
On this Wellness Wednesday, I want to share with you something that changed me to my very core. It wasn’t a diet, a material thing, or a major life event. It was gratitude.
It’s been so gratifying reading all of the feedback and encouraging comments after we debuted our Wellness Wednesday blog last week (here’s the premiere post if you missed it!) What struck me the most was how many people reached out in the comments on my Facebook page and supported eachother in their efforts to live a more fulfilling life. What an incredible family and community you all are. I’m so honored to be a part.

Are you in? It’s January 15th, over two weeks into a new year. I for one get excited over the idea of a clean slate and reflection on what I hope to accomplish over the next 365 days. But this year I’m motivated more than ever to reach out to my friends and create something different. I’m starting a new blog series and hopefully, a new community. Focused on so much more than the desire to lose a few pounds in 2018.
It's the most wonderful time of the year, no question. But I'm sure most of us find it can also be the most tempting and indulgent time of the year too. With busy schedules and abundant treats often come a less-than-healthy lifestyle. So many of us fall off the smart eating and activity track and become discouraged. Myself included!
